Whew. Advice helped a lot Thanks guys. Thomas Finch: I really like that icon, it's like a small Final Fantasy 6 enemy. Blaster: I like the homage (although I've never really liked Sonic... ) It seems like depth is missing on the grass, as the bridge is drawn with a sort of isometric depth. Also: fuck yeah samurai birds.

So I've stared myself blind at this girl here. I guess any advice would be nice before I start animating her. If something is odd or off, please come with suggestions to how I can correct it. Example: I'm trouble seeing when my characters do not look like the intended gender. So if she doesn't actually look like a girl right now, I'd also need advice as to which part might cause this. But in any case, any and all comments and pieces of advice are welcome, thank you Oh yeah and the feet/shoes are still parts I haven't focused too much on, so comments on them are redundant

@sketchwhale I'm fond of everything, but the face kind of irks me, maybe it's the shape or maybe it's the how static it feels.
I really wanted the face to be different too, but couldn't find a way to convert the slightly more expressive eyes in the sketch into pixels

Phew... it's... as done as I care right now. For some reason tinypic.com speeded up the GIFs... The animation is going way too fast. Maybe it's just my browser. Big 'n small comparison. Original sketch comparison.

Haha, lets say yes. But, no, I think I just messed up with the AA. It's something I need practice on. Hey cool style. I made a small edit, I messed up with aa and outlines a little to make it more clear, but I guess it'd would also ruin your current style. :D Love the edit! Though I mistook Pikachu for having no arms and cross-eyed boobs for a second

schoq and jaws01: Those are insanely cute. Thank you guys, you are so nice. I don't think I could have done what you did. I'd argue it isn't what I was going for, but holy crap they are good

thatshelby: Moving pixels in this resolution seemed to make a way too exaggerated effect. I searched for small idle animation and found that Metal Slug just moved the light points for great effect. schoq: I just wanted to see if I could do an idle animation at that size. I changed a few details around the arms, hurried the frames by 0.05 seconds and added some extra frames for blink. Thanks It's much better now.
