oh wow, man, that's delightful. I basically just come to this thread for the music (but the games cool too!!!)

thank you, I have quite a few talented people helping out as well. If people are interested i might try to make some sort of CD or something. I'm actually in the middle of finishing up another game right now for another project. It's super secret, but not really.

Anyway, im still working on this, just not much to show cleaning up code for haxe. Im really having a lot of fun with these gamejams though, and hopefully I'll learn some more stuff finishing up burrito galaxy -  http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=35614.msg936889#msg936889 - with magnus over the next few weeks.

As far as haxe goes, im really impressed with the improvements in haxepunk 2.3, and im digging the OPEN FL support. If only i had the discipline to stick with haxepunk the first time.

Also, another thing im having trouble with is a way to explain to people with words the way the splitting system works- the basic idea is this

You are the continued intersected existance of yourself over three planes. When you "hit" one of them is knocked loose, and you can switch control between the two, "hit" again and there is three.

Some things split you up, others stick you together, some things can only be effected by a version of "yourself" from a specific plane. IE a pink dude can walk through pink walls, or hit pink switches.

The pressure plates ive been trying to explain are based on the character-standing-on-it's dimensional "weight" or- how many pieces you have left of yourself.

Also, i've removed dying as it isnt canon, and was just left over from testing.

This is so great, i really like how you do cutscenes. You obviously put a ton of work into these and it shows.

One thing I would suggest for the "crayon" is to draw each background twice and animate it slowly. I think a wiggly background like that would make it seem more childish

why does she need to have such a revealing outfit
like, shes swinging around a scyth-polearm thing, but she has a low cut swimsuit top on basically, shes going to slice herself open man

I know this is a hot topic now with the Dragon's Crown release, but to put it simply we wanted to honor our concept artist's creative input.  As you have pointed out, these characters do deviate from reality.

this looks fun, i like the yoyo one

I'm really excited to experiment with her moveset. Those dual yo-yos bring a lot of possibilities.

I didnt mean anything rude by the comment, just that its silly that that always happens in games with female characters

Will the yoyos be like ness in SSB? or are you looking at something way different?

be careful and make sure you know how the redner path in haxepunk works. haxeflixel uses a GPU-based path so you have to hack in a buffer (probably not that hard - just create a screen-sized buffer and stick some code to copy current visible portions of frames) before you do anything to it - since there is no support for shaders yet Sad
