Did you have a stroke? I'm sometimes unsure what certain emoticons mean.

This game's visuals broke me. I can no longer function, goodbye tigsource.

Anyone here have any recommendations for books about/involving psychology? I read the entire reader's edition of The Red Book and loved it.

Shaun Tan's The Arrival is a children's picture book with no words, yet it tells a magnificent story. I'd advise anyone interested in using imagery to elaborate context in games to check this out.

Ashley Wood is delightful, I have Zombies VS Robots and his WWR book. I enjoy looking at his toys more than I do his paintings. I'm obsessed with the thought of a game having 3D character models on par with the aesthetic quality of his physical work.

if your sole reason for liking or disliking something hinges upon whether or not other people like the same thing maybe you should try out independent thought you soulless automaton

I stopped watching anime before everyone flocked to it mainly because I watched everything they had at the rental store where I lived, and didn't have cable so Adult Swim wasn't an option. I would occasionally pick up some manga whenever my family went into town though, and still read it when I have free time.

The Depreciation Guild.
If you value life, listen to this.

I thought anime sold out a long time ago. Where I live everyone knows and loves it under the assumption that it's something obscure. I watched Mobile Suit when I was seven, so maybe it's just a bias I feel seeing everyone flock to something I liked years ago.

Hands down, Sunbather is the most beautiful piece of music ever written.

You know, I'm mostly into mathy stuff, but this is not bad considering the lack of variety and stagnant dynamics.

For real, did you never have a MBV or Burzum phase? Anyhow, if you dig mathrock you should check out Animal Faces or The Jonbenet.Technically they are noise rock, but it involves similar breaks that you'd find in Mathrock. As far as the remark about what mathrock is, it mainly involves time signatures that makes the music sound jerky, like someone keeps tapping on the brake pedal while driving in a heavy van. has nothing to do with actual math

On a side note, if you enjoyed the softer parts of Deafheaven you HAVE TO check our Whirr. If you enjoy shoegaze or dreamy music in general, you realy really really really need to listen to either Distressor or Pipe Dreams.

I'm still not over Evangelion, will I hit a wall and burn out? Or does one's appreciation for it never stop growing?
