So this is where I am supposed to tell you about myself huh? Fair enough Smiley

Hi everyone, I am Aimee and I'm the lead developer at Xpod Games, we are a tiny indie outfit based in the UK city of Liverpool. Rob (lead artist) and I started up the company just over a year ago and as you can imagine it's been quite a roller-coaster lol.

I really don't have much of a background in the industry previous to this as for most of the last few years I bounced between professional programmer, holiday repping and spinning records. The experience I have comes from doing a lot of modding back in the Q3 days on many quirky things hardly anyone would remember.

The main reason I got into developing games was because programming systems for factories is out right boring (I got fed up of showing office workers how to change the ink cartridge on a printer), holiday repping meant I had to sing all the time, and the music industry has it's way of chewing out people who listen more than create lol. Making games gives me the ability to entertain, see people happy and at the same time allow me to use my skills as a programmer.

Anyway that's me, I look forward to getting into heated discussions with you all, and thanks for having me.

edit: completely forgot! we have a game out on the Xbox called Genix lol, check it out here (sorry for shameless spam); http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/Product/Genix/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d80258550c84

Yay for my first post on TigSource!

Interesting concept you have, took me a few goes to to defend the bottle on the first level. As a concept the aim of the game is pretty easy to pick up so that's a positive in my book,.

when I got to the second level though, the difficulty ramps up far too high. Opponents closest to the water source travel so fast that it seems impossible to win the level.

Good luck on your endeavours.

Aimee
