Thanks for the replies. At the minute I'm working on polishing up a few things. I'll make sure to get a proper sample level together and I'll post a video of it on here. I usually end the night by writing a little in my dev log in case you're interested in that Smiley

Hi Guys,

I thought I would throw up a little video of a game I'm working on just to get some external feedback. I've hit that stage now where I'm happy with how the prototype is progressing and am considering seeing the game to completion however I would like to get some external criticism of the games main mechanic.

Some Background:

The game is a Braid inspired platformer but I wanted to explore the mechanic further. I mainly enjoyed the part of the game where the character himself was immune to time rewinding and I thought that I could do something with this.

Basically the game explores the idea of simultaneous timeline running parallel to each other (though the prototype has this only in its basic form). If the player interacts with another timeline, he interrupts it and so destroys it. Upon rewinding back past the time that you broke the timeline, it is reinstated.

Anyways, here is a link to the video. Let me know what you think Smiley

Hi everyone!!!

My name is Ciaran Harrigan and I am an independent developer from Northern Ireland. I'm working mainly on Unity at the moment and I'm working to try and learn/implement procedural terrain.

I usually keep a running commentary on my tumblr for anyone thats interested: http://ciaranharrigan.tumblr.com

So far I have only really build a few prototypes after finishing my degree with a few being shelved/ worked on depending on when the mood strikes. Still finding my feet in the development world but slowly getting closer Smiley
