Hi everybody !

I'm a french developer living in Japan and I create games for as long as I can remember. Not only video games, but also pen and paper, tabletop, rpg.. And when it come to programming, I like to create fun apps or artistic demos also.

My first computer was a Thomson TO7-70 (something that never went outside of France I think) and I just fell in love with programming and the ability I suddenly got to make games living, and to simulate somebody else to play with (I was only child and was not often going to play in friend's houses). So I turned into a manic coder, writing pages and pages of BASIC in notebooks, even when I was kilometers away from my computer.

30 years later I'm working in a company doing social "games" and because I don't enjoy this too much, I'm going to start the adventure that all game developers are dreaming of... start my own studio: Tabletop Pixel.

During the 30 years interval I did multiple things, usually turn based and/or mixing different genres together like...

----------------------------

My latest finished work: Blob 5 and Space 5, two "align 5 tokens of your color" games, just to try out Obj-C and Apple submit process.

----------------------------

Bullet Master: a small flash lite game for old japanese "keitai" phones. Long before R-Type tactics I was already wondering of how to make a turned based shmup, because I love shmups graphics but I'm rarely in the mood for manic action and much more about having time to think. This game is the first attempt, a kind of crossover between Mastermind and an horizontal shooting game. Even if it's turn based, I enjoyed implementing a deep scoring system.

----------------------------

Road Wars 3D: much older (and sorry, french only, but I strongly intend to re-code and release it for real in future). My 3722th computer version of "vector race" with weapons, gadgets and a strong RPG flavor.

----------------------------

String Fighters: Despite its name, it's again in french only, sorry. A game where fighters are generated from their names: their specific abilities, AI, life etc.. everything comes from the string the players enter. The game consist into spending lot of time testing a lot of names, looking at them fighting against the current top fighters, and to register the best you found in tournaments.

----------------------------

Scramble Fighters: very old, but just to show the kind of stuff I do with pen and paper. This is a dice game that have been published in a RPG magazine.

----------------------------

And let's have a final word... this forum is very inspirating and I hope my own shares will give ideas to others also Grin!
