Added an alternative attack on Rouges revolvers, when you press F she will use rapid fire and empty her guns. This is an attack best used in close combat. Added an alternative attack on Rob-o, press B when flying to perform a lethal drop. Bots has been tweaked and AI has been improved.

Basic bots are added. They have some weaknesses you can exploit but they still give you a challenge.

Sorry for late answer, we have been working late nights for the last month :/ I agree, Frankensteins monster is not an easy character to work with. He didnīt have any name in the books and we canīt use the classic look (didnīt want to btw) because Universal owns the copyright.

A fast weapon that sprays bullets.

If an enemy comes to close you can use an alternative attack that empties the chambers.

One shot from this cannon is enough to score a kill.

18  Feedback / DevLogs / Early concept characters on: August 02, 2013, 11:31:00 AM

This shows the progress of some of the characters and the final concept. Did we take the right decisions or do you have another favorite?

Frankensteins monster started out with a look that we felt was to modern, still love the badass attitude.

Now he looks more of an gentleman but heīs still surprisingly creepy when he hunts you down in the catacombs.

In the beginning Vlad was dressed like a snooty gentleman but we decided to go with the monster-look and now we have added horns and glowing eyes.

A misunderstanding led to the artist belivied that the wolf was supposed to be an animal so we had to make new concepts. Still some cool ideas.

More concepts of the wolf.

Final concept.

19  Feedback / DevLogs / Character concept on: August 02, 2013, 04:47:04 AM

Here are some concepts and a short backgroundstory to the first playable characters in the game.

Alice, still a child at heart, can no longer distinguish right from wrong and is lost in madness. It doesnīt help that her imaginary friend Chess whispers in her ear. "Murder them all Alice, look at the pretty colors! We are so happy!" Wait... is that a talking kitty? Aw, how cute!

The gentleman Rob was brought back from the dead and his soul is now trapped in a cage of misery. His flesh is replaced with metal and his heart pumps oil trough his veins. Electricity shocks his brain and forces him to commit acts of unspeakable horrors. The only thing he can do when he blows you to smithereens is to apologize. "Oh dear! How rude of me!".

Vlad is a reclusive man living in the high society of London. He has a cold attitude, always polite use of words but when he speaks he sounds almost sinister. But gentlemanly Vlad with the icy heart has a little secret... He has a taste for human blood. A taste he developed when is wife suddenly and mysteriously was murdered... Naughty Vlad...

Several women have gone missing without a trace but when you question The Big Bad Wolf about it he only grins innocent. He has no clue why it all started when he moved to the village.
"Come on! Iīm a jolly bloke! Iīm always repairing peoples broken crap, always buying my mates an ale, always smiling... especially when I burn you to death with my flamethrower! Perhaps that will teach you to not ask stupid questions..."

Rogue uses her sensual side to manipulate you to her little obedient pet and if that doesnīt work she lets the revolvers do the talking instead. Her lying tounge has send many innocent townsfolk to an early grave and the only time she loses her cheeky posture is when the Wolf is mentioned. Her eyes start to burn with hate and her hand reaches for the gun. What on earth happened between them?

Hi and thanks for the feedback! For the moment we are improving the characters adding more details, however Iīm not sure you are going to notice ingame due to the speed. We have to see what people think when we have some gameplay videos to show. Mostly marketing talk, we want the characters to have personality and we plan to have background stories and voice-acting but we donīt have any features that affects gameplay.
