I have been working on big budget commercial games for the past 7 years but getting a bit sick of it lately. The teams are too big, the games are too big, and it takes years to complete them. Takes the fun out of game development. So in order not to lose my motivation and interest in games, lets try something radically different. Indie games!
For the past 1.5 year I have been working on an indie game, The Ball, a FPS puzzle game. What started as just a small hobby mod for UT, grew out to be an almost 6 hour single player adventure, and we are taking the next step now. I quit my job, and I am working on the game full time now. Funding myself.
