I just realized Kickstarter doesn't really allow internationally-based projects. However, on Indiegogo the projects are much smaller and have less amount of pledges raised (does that mean Kickstarter > Indiegogo?) What if I want to get my game kickstarted but I'm not from the US? I'd have to go to Indiegogo instead?

@Pete - I like the new pattern the oldest one makes it feel JPG'd lol. But it doesn't feel much like a carpet, maybe put it in a box house or something so we can all see it conveyed in a much larger space and area. Otherwise, great job  Hand Thumbs Up Left Grin

You can't really compare because I like the shading technique on the knees but you can't see them in the other sprite. Like others, I loved the left one. The new one seems crowded with ant-alias (face)

Why does the effect seem like it is glued to the tip of the gun? Shouldn't the effect animation stay in place?

I know there isn't a limit to what we can imagine but not everyone can imagine such designs for creatures such as the amazing ones you have just made. Exactly WHY is the imagination world producing such things? I think they should be uniform as well. I'm not really a fan of the first one of the newest batch you just posted. The one with the teeth without the yellow parts and the dress. That didn't seem to blend well with the others. Unless that one belongs in a different world or some sort. Anyway, I still love the progress Smiley This requires some great ass creativity which you got man.

Maybe just tone down the values? I don't really have any problem with the texture (although it looks like a cheap Photoshop texture and kind of makes it look liek paper) but maybe the font has a connection with it..

The newest ones are really nice. I never really liked the robot ones. But please don't make them weird for the sake of being weird. It has to come from somewhere, like the environment demanding them to adapt to what they are or something.

Still a WIP so they're a lil jenky.

This is amazing because it made me think if it were 3d low poly with pixelated surfaces a bit (because of the shine) but it's awesome! It's amazing how you conveyed the depth of the objects really well. However, maybe have the AK's shine look less pillowed?

All he did from 4-5 was anti-alias it at very weird places. The progression is not much to be proud of because he hasn't applied any of the critique that was given to him.

That's rude, man. On top of that you should have gave criticism on why you didn't like it (e.g. like Kramlack and Storsorgen did), merely saying that it's bad doesn't help.

He already knows what the problem is. He has an entire thread dedicated to the sprite in the Workshop right here.

He was given critique back before and he never really followed the stuff said to him because he wanted to keep his horrid "style" which IMO is an excuse for his ego issues and unwilling to improve.

It's like he doesn't want to shade not because of the style, but because he's just really lazy to do it.

Here was an edit given to him before by Yrgkala, all he did similar was the outline but all the other critique that was given to him was completely dropped. If you really want to improve, you have to STEP UP. It's like he's blinded by his work that he can't really see how bad it looks

Love the design! One thing that bothers me in each evolution is that the shoulders and arms haven't been addressed - he looks like a body builder who's leaning forward and flexing his shoulders. Shoulders in general should be affected by gravity, and especially on a salary man like this fellow I'd think they'd be quite rounded and weak-looking.

Here's an edit with just the shoulders and arms touched up. I also plumped his belly out a bit to match the thinner arms. Hope this helps you!

thanks Jesse its looking really nice, yeah the shoulders haven't been addressed but that is because I have a conundrum, the guy is meant to actually be a super hero called the g-man and he dresses kind of like a salary man, so when I think about the shoulders as hes a super hero I want him to look kind of badass. sorry should of said that Embarrassed any way thanks for the edit! Smiley I prefer you hands!!

I see it as Design, personally

but Art is probably the easiest place for it to be

but Design is more for Game Design. I guess it IS art but it's more for References (which is under Art) because it provides inspiration (like the setting/world thread in References)
