What better way to make people laugh then to make them uncomfortable?  Tongue

I don't laugh when I am uncomfortable. I'd think that when people are uncomfortable, they aren't exactly having fun. I think you mean "what better way to make people laugh than to make other people uncomfortable?"

I think I like them.

They are better than many (in fact, thinking about it, I'd say most) legendaries that appeared before. They don't look like any existing animal, but they make an interesting contrast (the feathery/furry one opposed to the stony/metallic one). They aren't a mess of color and parts like some others. The white one (Reshiram) is a little weird, but I could get used to it.

Given that one seems to have a whirlwind tail (I'm not so sure about this one) and the other one seems to have a drill tail, are they themed around Sky and Land? Or are they the mandatory Light vs Dark (Black and White)? Or both?

I guess they already covered everything, so whatever they are, they are redundant.

Pandora seemed the best thing ever when it was announced.

It took too long to be released. Now it's a little outdated in comparison with other powerful gadgets available. It's a little expensive too.

It has some merits. Full keyboard + gamepad + touchscreen + WiFi + Bluetooth + USB + SD makes up for a very impressive device.

Unfortunately, given my priorities, I will have to pass.
326  Player / General / Re: I want floppy disks back ;_; on: May 26, 2010, 11:14:12 AM
Every computer in the room I'm currently has a floppy drives. They are not even particularly old. My home computer also have a floppy reader. They are still fairly common where I live, though nobody uses them, except in a few cases when formatting a computer.

I'm thinking of buying a box of floppies, just to keep them as a memento. Maybe I will buy two and vacuum seal them in case a collector becomes interested in them in the future.  Hand Money Left Grin Hand Money Right

Do Sandwich Engineers build Sandwich Dispensers?

I'm not sure what to think about it. I feel the need to mock the premise of the game and to point out how unoriginal it seems to be, but I think I won't do it... for now. It might be a good game though.

I just hope they don't mess up the controls again. Waggling doesn't help Sonic much.

With the announcement of new games, maybe. Otherwise it might get old quickly.

I wonder if someday a fastfood chain will finaly acknowledge it and tag their employees "human machines"

Sandwiches are art.  Grin

I wonder how many Subway employees will suffer nervous breakdown.

Can something good come out of this thread?

Surprise me TIGsters.

There is nothing better than cheese.  Grin

This gives me an idea for a puzzle game themed around efficiently covering sandwiches of different shapes with cheese shaped as tangram pieces.

I seriously doubt Sonic would be playable in a main series Mario game. Having him to be playable in the crossover games was surprising, but I doubt they would do further than that. The most you could expect is a cameo.

Something that is less tricky, but kind of funny when you realize it is how north and south, and west and east touch each other in some game maps that wrap.

I'm a vegetarian, too, and I sometimes get cravings for meat... But the idea of eating something that was grown is just as disturbing (if not more) than eating the flesh of a dead animal D:

I have nothing against killing animals to eat. In fact, I consider it one of the few justifiable reasons for killing an animal. We (humanity) take away their habitats, control them with little respect if any, often treating them as objects, hunt them as a "sport", kill them to make useless trinkets and other unnecessary products, kill them for getting in our way and kill them even if they aren't causing any harm.

We control the lifes of every being we can, yet we let our kind spread with little control despite the harm it causes to every other species. I do not say this because I think humanity should be controlled, but because I think the other species should at least be respected. In our march for our perceived notion of progress, there is so much being destroyed...

Well, many animals kill to eat too, so I consider it natural. I don't have much problem with it.

I wonder when we will have engineered humanoind mutans, or rather, when we will be able to become humanoid mutants(without having to wait generations for it). Grin

I've been a vegetarian for a long time now, and I'd eat the hell out of some sheet-meat grown in a lab.  Cry

When will science do this for me ?

I don't know when the science will do it for you specifically, but I think it might be sooner than you imagine.

339  Player / General / Re: What platforms have you gamed on? on: May 21, 2010, 03:08:51 PM
favorites:
NES, SNES, N64, GC

These ones seem to have something in common. Hmm, I wonder what it is...  Durr...?

Anyway, I've played:

  • Master System, Genesis, SNES, PS1, PS2.
  • GB, GBA, NDS.
  • Windows, Linux.
  • Some browser games and Flash.

Edit: Oh, I was forgetting Arcade. I can't believe I forgot Arcades, since they were very present and important in my early gamer life.

I wonder how many people give up buying because of that.
Why would you?  Huh?

I don't have a console that can play this game and by the time they release it the hype will probably have gone . I could end up buying a different game. I don't have a much money to spend in games.

That without even taking resentment on account, which I don't have, by the way.
