What the hell, this looks insane!

Congrats!

How big is your team?

Thanks Smiley
Right now we're 7 with freelancers.

Looks great, reminds me of some strange offspring of the old Space Quest games and Firefly Wink

Good luck!
Thanks, that's a nice comparison Wink

We're happy to show you our new game in development: Cosmonautica

We’re Chasing Carrots, a small indie developer based in Stuttgart, Germany and after our first game “Pressure” we’re putting the steering wheel and earthly restrictions aside and give you the freedom of the endless space. You will be an aspiring captain on the hunt for fame and fortune.

We made a little teaser as attunement:
Cosmonautica - "The Cosmonauncement" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn0F8igrjIs

Cosmonautica combines elements of space trading and life simulation to create an unique experience. Only if you take good care of your crew you will be able to succeed. It's single-player but we will have global challenges and more Wink - We can't tell you about our story campaign for now, but there will be lots of stuff to do in the game.

As of now there's a Steam Greenlight Concept site http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=226567242 - please check it out and vote if you like it.
In a few weeks we're starting to let in more people on our alpha tests. We'll give you an update on that in future updates.

And we are really looking forward to your feedback.

Hi folks Smiley

My name is Josef. I'm working at Chasing Carrots - chasing-carrots.com. We're a small indie developer based in Stuttgart, Germany and we're creating small, refreshingly unique games for the downloadable console and pc games market.
Our first game was "Pressure" store.steampowered.com/app/224220 which was released in March 2013 and it's available on Steam, Desura and so on.
For our next game we put the steering wheel aside and are going into space. Cosmonautica, the new game under development, is a space trading game mixed with elements of life simulation games like The Sims. That combination generates some hilarious situations. Over the next days and weeks we'd like to show you some stuff here in the forum.

Personally I love crazy games with a first person view and all the awesome indie games out there. I grew up playing Lucas Arts adventures and strategy games like Dune and my first consoles were a Gameboy and a Mega Drive. I like reading fantasy and sci-fi novels and I love dogs, cause there was always a dog around since I was little.

I'm looking forward to some great discussions and to exchange ideas, knowledge and so on Wink
