Yeah, definitely looks very similar. I'll download it and check it out, but from what I see in the video I think they play differently.

I have upload my 'quick and dirty' prototype here: http://perroelectrico.com/tune/

The basic mechanic is to rotate the outer circle to make the colors match the second one. Depending on the colors matching, different notes will play. That's the core, and I have some ideas on how to make it varied, which I'll be testing in time.

I'm targeting touch devices, as it feels very natural to rotate something with your thumb while holding your phone.

Oh common! You got to give us a bit more info about it! Smiley I like music making games, so let's see how this turns out. Good luck

Yeah, I know, but it is difficult to explain in words, much more in writing. Smiley I'll try to get something running and make a video, to give a better idea.

Hey all,

Starting work on my new game. Tune is a color matching game that generates music while you play. The better you play the better the music. I will reveal the exact mechanics better as I progress through development.

My last game was made in Unity and that was fine and quite powerful, but new I'm gonna experiment with Haxe + OpenFL, as it also allows easy porting and gives me more control over the building procedure, something I needed but I found a bit lacking in the free Unity version.
