Hey Buddies, I'm planning on hosting a summer long online game making workshop. It's designed for people who just can't release a game or want to broaden their skills. The plan is to make eight games over the course of 2 weeks each. Once the 2 weeks are done, you are done working on the game. Hopefully this will help people out with time management and project planning. So I leave this open to TIGSorcerers if they wanna join up, I think I have atleast 10 people at school that are down. It will live at: www.alvgd.comIf you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks

I will be building an embassy as soon as I get my 15 marble!
If any of you want to attack my antagonists, they are both at my town at 36,73. Loboxpaul, of loboxpaul, no known affiliation, and ernest168, of LALA LAND, part of the UNT alliance. Also known at Polis(35,72) and KK Land (36,72)
I would appreciate the assistance.

Sorry about the domain being blocked by some places... my old website had a lot of questionable adult material on it, so it was flagged as porn. -Edmund

It hasn't been done, I just wanted to be the first person credited with posting the idea. You have a STRAIGHT LINE of PIXELS. Each colored pixel is a player. You can face up and down, shoot and block in a direction. You can do fast shot or slow shot, with a fast shot taking longer for you to recover. After you fire you cannot move or block for a short time. If you time your block properly, you will absorb a bullet from whichever direction you are facing and instantly recover, able to absorb further bullets. If you are HIT then you move down, if you HIT someone then you move UP. The goal is to be at the top, Forever! But, once you are at the top, you cannot be taken down as long as you don't fire.

When I play multiplayer games it's generally more for the social experience than the game experience (although obviously both are important to me), so I tend to want to play with people I already know or have at least some social connection to outside of the game. So I think it'd make a lot of sense to tie the game matchup system to existing social networks; if I'm a member of a forum or facebook or etc, I want to say, is anybody from one of my communities or groups of friends playing? This is my favorite feature of Steam, I never just play a game, I play with friends from my friends list.

Even how they handle their webads are geared towards their community. They opted for ads which they themselves approve of, as opposed to before where it was more of a begging system, which they hated. This is why you don't see horrible adds for like pointers or things or stupid adsense.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound antagonistic. I would love a way to play games without having to deal with jerks and such, I dunno, I guess limiting some peoples fun rubs me the wrong way. I guess games about shooting each other just brings out aggressive tendencies in people. Other game types you see less examples of such jerkiness.
