Yeah I've heard people say Studio is faster but I've ported three of my GM8 games over and haven't noticed any speed boost. Though the 1.2 update is adding something called LLVM which is supposed to massively speed GM up and should come out in a few months.

Porting was pretty easy for my games, just had to work around a couple of defunct functions but otherwise works the same. Though I'd probably wait to get Studio until a bit after the 1.2 update. Studio is getting pretty constant updates right now and are still fiddling with major stuff under the hood so you have to deal with weird bugs cropping up all the time, recently there's been two updates that made my game completely unplayable. There is version control so you can roll back if a new update is causing grief but it's still annoying.

Been playing some more, I have a better appreciation of the singleplayer now that the difficulty has increased- though I wish there were more times where I really feel like a smooth criminal rather than some guy bumbling around and getting by on pure luck.

That's my biggest gripe really, I'm just bumbling around reacting to guards and lasers that pop up out of nowhere due to the limited view. It doesn't feel strategically stealthy at all, I can't plan out routes and not being able to take down the pop up guards is annoying. Weirdly Hotline Miami is a better stealth game.

If you have people who are fairly proficient then I think your best bet is get your hands mucky and build your own site then use Wordpress or CuteNews for your news section (I prefer CuteNews for the simplicity). Go look at some 'top 10 best web designs' for inspiration if needsbe. Sure you can build your entire site around Wordpress and there's some nice free templates out there for it but it's much harder to take complete control over individual pages as you're somewhat restricted to its template system.
