I'm really not sure why this thing exists.

Anyone else getting Soul Hackers?

It's going to be my first SMT-related game. If I like it I won't sell Devil Survivor Overclocked which is still sitting unplayed in my collection. I'm bound to like it better anyway since SRPGs >>>> dungeon crawlers (and any other kind of RPGs) for me.

Reckless Racing 2 is actually pretty good, and I usually don't enjoy phone-tablet games.

Non-mobile: Little Racers Street, Micro Machines, THE Arashi no Drift Rally (incredibly difficult, though), and Rally King from Retro Game Challenge.

I still need to play it... maybe in the following months.

I'm currenyl obsessed with the Fire Emblem demo, I still can't beat it in Lunatic and I'm a FE veteran. Going to play this so much once it gets released Coffee

Devil Survivor Overclocked is still sitting on my shelf unplayed, need to fix that. Also, as an impulse buy I bought New Super Mario Bros. 2 not expecting anything special. It's definitely not a must have by any means but it's certainly pretty fun, 2D Mario is weirdly satisfying. Would never recommend it over 3D Land or Sticker Star, of course, but it's still fun.

Lol at the cheap car vs. expensive car analogy. That would work if all consoles, cheap and expensive, played the exact same games. This was ultimately debunked when we saw 3DS at $250 selling 3 to 4 times (or more, depending on the month/week) what Vita sells at that same price.

I don't know, most of my favorite ancient games are still good. And I keep discovering really old, good games that I didn't play back in the day.

My examples would be... Super Off Road for NES. It's just not very fun now.

Reckless Racing 2 is the only phone/tablet game I've played for more than one hour. It's actually pretty fun and unique since not many top-down racers get made these days, let alone good ones.

I'll get a WiiU sometime next year. It's way, way too expensive here in Mexico and 3DS+PC are heavily hogging my gaming time/money at the time. By then I'll expect to buy it with NSMBU, The Wonderful 101, Tekken and that tank game which looks like a blast. Hoping WiiU is successful! Feels so weird not buying a Nintendo system at launch.

Paper Mario is glorious. Oh man, I'll play it this weekend non-stop, and then again in Spanish just for the lulzy translation. It's truly GOTY material for me, just like the previous 3 Paper Mario games.

Pre-ordered Paper Mario at CDUniverse, it still doesn't ship. Seriously, making me wait for my most hyped game of the year is not nice, CDUniverse.

Sadly, capacitive screens suck for stylus use. They're just not designed for that, the input ratio is huge (making them very imprecise) and capacitive styli suck at emulating your finger, so they skip a lot and are a pain to use. Bleh, touch gaming. The best touch-controlled games I've played are on DS anyway. Lol, my avatar is going to make me look so biased.

Little Racers Street: Tried the demo, it's pretty great. It plays a lot like Reckless Racing 2, but faster and more challenging, which is exactly what Reckless Racing 2 is lacking. I'm definitely buying this on PC.

GeneRally: Haha, I love the looks on this. It's okay and apparently they're working on a sequel.

By the way, I'm buying Super Speed Machines for DS since I want one to play on my 3DS. I emulated it and it's pretty fun, just rather basic looking. Thanks for the suggestions! Tongue

I have always liked handhelds more than consoles, I think, so it sucks to see them shrinking because of touch gaming, which has been incredibly underwhelming in my experience with iOS, Android and Windows Phone.

At least there's always Japan, where handhelds outsell home consoles, so in the worst case scenario I'll import a 3DS2 and all my games for it.

I've been really in the mood for a top-down racer. Like Micro Machines, Super Cars or Off Road, but not those because, well, I've played them. I bought Reckless Racing 2 on Android, and it's okay, I guess. I'm thinking of MotorStorm RC or Driift Mania, but I'm open to suggestions! I don't think it ever was a popular kind of game since it was more related to technical limitations, once developers started making good "from behind" racers they never went back.

By the way, Rally King rocks and I'd buy it as a standalone game if it had more tracks:
