Psychonauts is a great game but what the fuck does it need a Wiki for (hint: it doesnt)
Hint.It has links to the myspace pages for each camper, used to flesh out their characters.

This utter piece of crap pong game was the earliest "game" I remember making (not including an adventure game about evil potatoes made in my elementary school's copy of Hyperstudio and a Calvin and Hobbes choose your own adventure in QBasic that's thankfully lost to the ages) and is included for the sole purpose of making the other games in this thread look better. Yes, that's the dancing baby ("ooga chaka, ooga chaka") from the early days of the internet. Yes, that's Ash Ketchum's disembodied head. Yes, the background is a photograph of a Lego Mindstorms device with someone's fingers over the lens. No, I cannot rightfully explain why my younger self compiled these things for an epic Klik and Play pong boss battle.

I like the mood you're creating. The plane parts in each playthrough don't seem especially necessary since the NPC action and narration seem to tell the whole story. I like how you can keep the balloons around to play with during downtimes. Very nice job. Spoilery comment

I love the concept! Well done. :D
I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't anything special when I just left the title screen on, though.

I like the writing so far. I have five points, but am not sure what to do with the box or the record player at the moment. Some minor issues: It's odd that the switch and speaker aren't objects in the record room, and that in the bedroom <spoiler>.

Title inspired by Full Life Consequences? :D
Played up until the part in the first level with the second green turret enemy. It unpredictably crashes when I fall in a pit. Then it started crashing when I restarted the program. (On Vista if that makes a difference.)
Medusa heads were annoying as hell at first, mostly due to the unforgiving inertia when you get hit, though their patterns are able to be learned.
It's odd that you don't display the player's current health.
The walking animation is buggy, sometimes not animated at all, sometimes looking like ice skating. This is hilarious, though, and I'm not sure I'd want to see it changed.
You *really* need to compress those sound files in Audacity or something. No reason this game should take up 60 megabytes.

The engine works well, and I didn't notice any major clipping issues apart from the spoiler. The wooden planks used to enforce linearity stuck out as not being large enough to justify being barriers if the player can jump and crouch, and I was disappointed I couldn't leave the path in the first scene. The first part had a good mood to it, but it fell a bit flat near the end: spoiler. Maybe it could be more effective by giving the player a personality through text/audio commentary?

Creepy! I haven't gotten past spoiler yet. The rowing works well, although it was not at all intuitive that horizontal movement allowed you to change direction since the sensitivity is so low. Even when I figured it out, it is still difficult to change directions, although I can understand if that's an intentional part of the tension.

I really like the concept of this game. The engine was solid, and you have some nice gameplay twists as the game progresses. It was very cool to see the pebbles start to move on their own, and try to intuit why. Great job!
The endgame is a bit dull, though. It lasts for far too long without doing anything interesting, which is hard to be excited about after each checkpoint introduced a new gameplay mechanic.

Very nice job! Would it be possible to add a way to stop animating apart from clearing the text and restarting? 45 degree lines: *[ne*]*[se*]*[e*]*[s*]*[se*]* spiral: *[[e*]*w[s*]*n[w*]*e[n*]*s] D'oh. Repeat. Farbs had three separate ones, not a three line checkerboard one. steady pulse: sssssssssssssssssss*[[s*s*s*e*e*n*n*n*n*n*n*e*e*s*s*s*]*] AC?: sssssssssssssssssss*[[s*s*s*e*e*e*n*n*n*n*n*n*e*e*e*s*s*s*]*] Marquee:*[[ee*]ww[ss*]nn[ww*]ee[nn*]ss[*ee]ss[*ss]ww[*ww]nn[*nn]*] That pong one is amazing, Farbs.
