One complete level is enough. On the subject that reminds me that I'm waiting for MONACO for almost two years now

I don't have a console so I'm getting it anyway.
Also, I usually play these kind of games with my 360 controller from a distance so it should just look like it would on a console, not that big of a deal.
And yeah, we all know that modders will eventually find a way to fix all that.

Played Slender yesterday too and while the graphics are pretty bad the game runs amazingly slow on my computer.
Well, the people that made it probably aren't professionals or anything and are probably just fans of Marble Hornets wanting to make something good for it.

People talk about Serious Sam and Hard Reset being old-school, but they're not really like DOOM and Quake.
Those games were defined by 2 important things IMO: lots of enemies to kill (which required some strategy since you had a lot of guns to choose from and your health didn't grew back) and level design that required and rewarded exploration. Serious Sam and Hard Reset do the first thing right but not the second one. They're pretty much a sequence of rooms full of enemies, they're still fun games on their own way though and I have yet to play SS3.

Been playing RAGE for some time, it's a very good looking game if your computer can handle it and the shooting is fun. Nice to have a current gen FPS where you can cycle through 8 different guns, with each gun having different kinds of ammo. Not to mention some items like grenades and boomerangs! But then the current gen stuff kicks in and while the levels have some exploration and backtracking like the DOOM/Quake days, they're mostly linear and a have lot of invisible walls that are really annoying cause you never know where you can and cannot jump! Also, the world is not very large so there's a lot of padding. It's like they wanted to make an old-school fps but gave up halfway

Really like the mechanic where you can jump on to your spears
I really liked it more when it was called FishbaneNobody remembers Quackshot Best Mega Drive/SEGA Genesis ever made... for me at least. So, one of the guys is reading this? Are you the one that worked on Web of Shadows for DS? Love the combat in that game, make it as flexible as that please! :D

I like how we are into 9 pages of vehemently arguing about an hypothetical game console.
Hypothetical discussions are the best discussions!

And then it goes rapidly downhill from there. Near the end it starts to read like a hit piece. It associates device rooting and openness with piracy (oh, come on!), asks why companies haven't committed large amounts of resources toward developing for it yet (when the kickstarter isn't even over and nobody has prototype units), glosses over the "why-not-get-a-PC" argument, as well as bringing up the scary spectre of legal issues because they're daring to talk to people in the industry.
Unfortunately, I think the argument about piracy is right. Haven't a bunch of developers used piracy as an excuse to not develop for PSP and PC? Being that Sony is constantly fighting against it with firmware and publishers with DRM, on the Ouya no one's gonna do anything about it.

Nope, the face buttons are just color-based.
Which is pretty stupid btw, color-blinded people also play video games you know?
The color-blind issue's been raised before, and I'm pretty sure that the concept isn't final (the D-Pad's not even shown). Also, the media shot shows that the buttons have labels. Hopefully it's the choice they decide to go with. Sorry, saw some screenshots of the UI now that show the letters.
