I can't stop looking at the gifs in the first post. So delicious!

(The name sounds like a simulation game though.)

Other affordable (although some not available yet) cool and/or interesting game development hardware:

Well all these thigns are a bit useless, Microsoft won the motion sensing war with kinect, and then, it dropped out of fashion alltogether

Yeah, I skipped the obvious stuff like Kinect and PS Move. The Kinect is great and incredibly easy to develop for! All of those give you stuff that the Kinect doesn't do though. Can you sell what you make with them? Probably not. Will be it be a lot of fun to develop for it? Possibly! (Especially if you have access to them through university or friends.)

Has anyone else here heard about the Oculus Rift? I assume so, but I just heard about it. I think it's really cool.

Yup. Quite old news, but still cool!

...well, and Ouya. But everyone knows of that, I guess!

If you guys know more, I'd love to hear :D

This thread might be somewhat relevant: (Unusual) Games about magic?

...and I can't wait until have time to read this one here.

Thanks for playing the game. I'm glad that you and your friends had fun with it, that's why I make games after all!

PS: The bumping is quite appreciated, thank you very much Tongue

That's a bit too late for one of my projects, but hey, it won't be the last. Thanks for the info!

Also: Here we go, $51k! I'm particularily happy about that - seeing the texture packer so far down made me a bit worried. YES! Grin

Wow, that really does look amazing. Backed - by a coder! Smiley

Do you guys have any idea when Unity 2D Toolkit support might be finished?

I forgot to answer; sorry!

Thanks! Yeah, playing both hammers at once is bound to be confusing, but you're not the first one remarking on that. I hoped that making the players not rotate in futuristic mode would help that, but it seems it's not enough. Maybe I have to make them different after all.

I'm delighted about you being happy with the music! Especially because I quite like the music you produce - praise coming from somebody who obviously knows what he's doing is always great Smiley

What kind of server do you need?
10  Developer / Art / Re: Dev Comic on: January 21, 2013, 10:49:46 AM
Just read them all! Smiley

They are really cool, but the website makes them hard to read in chronological order!

Is there a way to "unfollow" threads at the "show replies to your posts" list?

I wish there was!

I can hardly wait!

By the way, how flexible is the system? Can it make stuff for target moods or genres, for example horror or stealthy?
13  Developer / Business / Re: Non-Evil Multiplayer Monetization? on: January 07, 2013, 12:58:08 PM
Haha, you're right. Seems like I didn't think this one through!
14  Developer / Business / Re: Non-Evil Multiplayer Monetization? on: January 07, 2013, 12:50:15 PM
Sure, but it's just less possibilities for the player. With virtual money, they could also buy it from the virtual money they earn by playing well and inviting friends.
15  Developer / Business / Re: Non-Evil Multiplayer Monetization? on: January 07, 2013, 12:28:48 PM
Well, with virtual money, you could also buy a "1 day pass", for example. And it's easier to give out half the money you need to play a game: "100 money" looks better than "0.5 games".
