I'm currently reading Foucault's Pendulum, by Umberto Eco. It's... very strange.
Got that lying here, too. Think I'll start it tomorrow. :O

Probably because "mention music you love" is not the topic of this thread. Then again, I guess I was the one who started derailing. Sorry for that. D:

The Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 soundtrack blew my mind. Consequently, I've never been able to find a tracklist, so I've never been able to figure out who I was listening to.
1. Papa Roach - Blood Brother (3:19) 2. Anthrax and Chuck D - Bring The Noise (3:37) 3. Rage Against The Machine - Guerilla Radio (3:25) 4. Naughty By Nature - Pin The Tail On The Donkey (3:49) 5. Bad Religion - You (2:27) 6. Powerman 5000 - When World Collide (2:44) 7. Millencolin - No Cigar (2:42) 8. The High And The Mighty - B-Boy Document 99 (3:54) 9. Dub Pistols - Cyclone (3:28) 10. Lagwagon - May 16 (2:57) 11. Styles Of Beyond - Subculture (3:29) 12. Consumend - Heavy Metal Winner (2:33) 13. Fu Manchu - Evil Eyes (3:29) 14. Alley Life - Out With The Old (3:51) 15. Swingin Utters - 5 Lessons Learned (1:55) I got the soundtracks of THPS 1-4. 2 is my favourite, by far. They just managed to capture what skating music meant at that point and assembled an amazing playlist. It's a bit superior to the other soundtracks in the way GTA3 has the best soundtrack of all (3D) GTA games. It's easy to just buy all the music that's popular when you're big and have money, but for GTA3 they actually put lots of thinking into the music and found special, unknown artists to contribute. "Superman" from THPS1 is also an amazing song.

Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm. I begin to think we might actually be dealing with wolves here. Four to six even, if battlerager is to be believed. And I do believe him. Even if he was a psychopath or a werewolf, I am sure he would have had the sanity not to slaughter a victim right before his door. This surely must be an attempt of the psychopath/wolf pack to draw suspicion on other villagers. They must know we are forced to kill one of us each day and are apparently trying to kill as many of us as possible. This is bad news. They're not just trying to satisfy their bloodlust, no. They have genocidal tendencies. I don't need to spell out what this means for us in the end, do I? It's a battle of life and death.
I sadly can't really argue or reason to vote anybody off, I can only trust gut feeling. I am rather sure that bobo is not one of the people we look for. I could say you fellow villagers can trust me on this, but in the end, why would you trust me? I also doubt that one of the people who voted for themselves to be a messenger would be the people we seek to kill. As I said, we are facing maniacs that by all means try to kill every single one of us. It would not make sense for them to send one of them out of town. This makes me believe Cheater, Xion and Renton are not the psychopaths/werewolves. This is not a water-tight alibi of course, and should be taken with a grain of salt. I will still be suspicious of the three. This logic does not apply to anyone who will vote for himself to become the messenger after I uttered this, since they could just be trying to use my cover to render them unsuspicious. Or not.
Eventually, here's who I vote for: Inanimate. He's too quiet, too shifty. I don't trust him.
And I vote for Bobo to be the messenger, as I trust him.

The Fun Lovin' Criminals were my first real taste in music. Before that, I just tagged along with what was popular or advertised. The Flaming Lips then became a band which is so life-affirming and positive and experimental and simply awesome that I listened to them for a long time. Then The Magnetic Fields, and with them (since he sang on one of Stephen Merrit's self-made self-tribute songs) Momus, which is what manifested my taste until today. The funny and interesting thing about The Magnetic Fields is that I've listened to them 15 years before I really knew them, when watching The Adventures of Pete & Pete. I think my taste was programmed at a very early age, I just needed to re-discover and admit to it. Also, add some Lullatone, for the minimal, supersimple cute melodies that I still like today. Asa-Chang & Junray also need to be mentioned. I've not heard such beauty before.
This is more or the less the cornerstone recipe to my music taste today. Of course, there's hundreds of artists inbetween.

I guess this is pandy's way of scoring women. "Hey, I thought you're 10 years younger" - "Ooohh". Then she blushes, takes pants off. I know this is how women behave because I've seen porno documentaries on the topic. Don't be mad at him, Siiseli<3.

On tigirc we wonder whether cactus is a vampire-type guy who sucks game ideas out of other people or if the contrary would be true, making him a sort of contemporary incarnation of the greek goddess Muse. Please provide information to resolve this issue.

Yeah, that's another thing. If you label and critic/review things as something they are not, they will of course fail. Ocean's Eleven might be a good steal-the-diamonds movie, but it's a bad first person shooter. Likewise maybe there might eventually be a term/genre/medium name(?) which exactly fits Passage, Graveyard, Marriage etc. Because, to be frank, these don't do well if you apply conservative game reviewing criteria, ie see them as "games". I currently lack the vocabulary to be more clearly on what my point is, I guess. Sorry. :/

Hrmmm. I will vote for Rob, simply because I find his reasoning for voting for valter ("I agree with Guise, however I'm voting Valter as I believe he could cause more damage.") very substance-less.
I also have to remind you guys that it was my sheer disbelief in fantasy beings like werewolves that made me suspect we might "just" have a killer in our town. Please, in these hard times, try to think for your own and do not rely too much on the logics of fellow villagers. They might be on to something, and in the end everyone's responsible only for their own actions. Just a reminder.
