Hmm, I'm not sure why everybody is trusting Melly so much, but I guess I'll have to vote, so...
Melly.

Looks like it's based off of that one Treasure game. I can' t remember what it's called, but it had characters rendered in that style- in fact, that may be one of them. Looks like fun, though.

Rakugaki Showtime, a Japan-only game on the Playstation.
Yukiwo was one of the main characters.

I'll admit, you DO kinda intimidate people with that shotgun, even if you do have the town's best interests at heart.
And it would be a bit of a stretch (and a very clever ruse) if you were actually a werewolf yourself, leading us all on from the start...  but I don't think it's something we can necessarily rule out.

If we're looking at the cross-section of the street there, you could show some of the layering beneath the ground.  The break in a pattern should be more obvious than the break in a solid color.

Even something really basic could help:

Except for kissing parlors.  Unless you had some sort of physical representation of a kiss to take to the register.

I didn't know that guise had something against you.  Is it because you told everyone about his encounter with the light?  Are you then implying that the light made him some kind of killer?

I don't know...  Somebody here has the potential to kill people (or at least try) during the night, but didn't.  Not until last night when they went after you, PaleFox.  This doesn't sound like some random killing to me.
(unless guise is some kind of killer now, but that seems unlikely.)

Anyway, I don't mean to seem cold, but it seems to me that somebody here knows something about you, PaleFox.  And you certainly do act a little unusual...

...and, uh, I don't want to remain on the "People who we are going to shot" list.

It seems PaleFox was quite lucky to escape death.  It looks as though somebody has it out for him - he was found in his own room, yes? - but I don't want to rule out the idea that he could have been attacked in self-defense...

It doesn't look like the work of werewolves - sadly, that was reserved for poor Markham - but who else would have a reason to kill around here?  And do they know something that we don't?

I dunno... something about this attack doesn't sit right with me...
I'll reserve my vote until I hear PaleFox's side of the story.

Wow, that is nice!  I love the flip and stumble!  ...and the turning around... and the looking back... and the tail movements...
Heck, it's all good!

That's fine, guise.
I don't believe that you are a wolf, but in the situation we're in, people like to know everything that's going on.
570  Player / General / Re: [DAY 3]TIGSTWG XIV - How to bie painfully on: May 16, 2009, 08:39:55 PM
You both saw the light go into him...?  Interesting.  Very interesting.
I think you still have a bit of explaining to do, guise.

And if you're right about people knowing about the werewolves beforehand, Melly, we can only hope that at least one of them came with the means to take care of them.  And I'm not just talking about the democratic process.
Oh, but if only rob had found something out before he was slaughtered.  Even the smallest morsel of solid information would be a feast to our starved investigation here.

Well, a lot of people seem to know a lot more about cultists than they're letting on.  If it's not a cult, it's certainly a well-organized attempt at raising some suspicion.

But a cult seems more likely.

Anyway, I'm really keen to hear what Palefox, Tanner, and Guise were off doing last night, and what they found.
(Especially Guise, who has yet to say a thing since this whole ordeal began.)

Oh wow, I've got a game there.  Shocked
So many big games and names... I feel kinda out-of-place.
573  Player / General / Re: [DAY 2]TIGSTWG XIV - How to die painfully on: May 14, 2009, 09:51:10 AM
Actually, that doesn't sound too unbelievable.  Cheater's death was certainly unusual.  It was disturbingly gruesome, yes, but wouldn't a werewolf have eaten the body?  And what of the finger-shaped bruises?
574  Player / General / Re: [DAY 1]TIGSTWG XIV - How to die painfully on: May 12, 2009, 01:10:07 PM
I'll have to agree with genericuser.  The chance is too high that we'll be lynching somebody innocent.  We need at least a little more to go off of right now.

But if the storm doesn't let up, we could all be trapped in the inn for quite a while...
The prospect of being penned up all night with some terrible beast is almost as horrifying as the fact that we're gonna run out of booze pretty quickly without our brewer.

This is TIGSource.  You don't get lame entries.

HrrmmmmmmmmOK.
Bring on the the werewolves.
577  Player / General / Re: (END)TIGSTWG XIII - They Return With A Vengeance! on: May 08, 2009, 10:14:18 AM
I'm pretty sure we know who all the wolves were: jstckr, Inanimate, rob, PaleFox, and Kneecaps.

And yes, I was the "informed".  I got an update on the number of werewolves every morning (and occasionally after a lynching).

Anyway, I still enjoyed the game, Melly.  I just think you should have been more exact (and less lenient) in terms of the timing for night and day.
I've also got a couple of ideas for a new werewolf game, but I don't think I'll be hosting it anytime soon.

Ooh... would I be allowed to make a Duke3D mod for this?

Goodness, this is a frighteningly large turnout!
I just hope everyone can keep this level of enthusiasm throughout.  We might (hopefully) be able to breeze through the pages pretty quickly.
