man the contest minigame in the beginning sure was scripted. you can't actually lose. i know this because i had to do some university work and accidentally left the the game running for like an hour. it's pulling the same handholding "illusion of agency" crap so many modern "cinematic" games pull.

Yes, I was annoyed with that too, but you could have put that as a potential spoiler alert for those who don't have the game yet Tongue let them find out for themselves...

The combat is definatley slightly harder (from what I played so far) But I don't see how the motion controls are a plus yet...

Famil I was in the same position. I am a fan of the Zelda games but hadn't really read much or seen many videos. Id say Im quite happy with it so far though Smiley A lot of cutscenes/dialogue mind.

Oh... Ive never heard of any stores doing that in the UK. The only way Ive gotten a game early is by pre-ordering with Game.

Desktop. Ive never been able to do work on a laptop, just a thing I have. I dunno why, I guess I like to work in the same place, stationary.

I loved the demo, but not sure Ill buy it for a while, due to wanting to play Skyward sword and a couple of other games first.

Gameplay wise its a lot of fun and visually its complete eye candy. The animations are lovely, although admittedly Im not so keen when they zoom in on the characters and you can see close up they're quite sketchy/messy vector work. They should keep to a smaller scale IMO.

I love the whole idea of the game feeling more like a cartoon, which reminds me I still need to try Warioland: Shake it.

I dont mind the smaller Angry Bird merchandise, so long as its sold at a realistic price (although evidently its not), but seeing the speakers in 3 shops at the weekend... I thought they had taken it too far.

Dunno if anyone posted pics of them yet.

Big update.

  • I spent a long time to find another simple memory leak. It was hell but it's over now.
  • Web now sticks to tiles and objects
  • Web tears if there's too much pressure. (awesome!)
  • Web can exit the level without causing bugs. (Hopefully my solution will work further along the line as well)
  • I've added a little friend.

But best of all is that the web is seamingly bug free now, which feels soooo gooooood.

IMO the centipede needs more contrast/shine to it. They're quite shiney looking, at the moment it looks kinda dull/flat and dithered.
