As awesome as mellotrons are, I don't see them having as good lasting appeal as these continuous Pikachu avatars. Best to leave it to one time trick.

I'm midst of hell figuring good name (which has available domain too!) for my personal games/art etc. website. I though about asking about the latest invention of mine to hear some opinions. I doodled a lineart for random creature with hourglass which could act as a logo/image/whatever for my site and games: It was created for name Wayward Times but now I'm thinking Timespecter. Which one sounds cooler for you? You can also suggest random variations of the names

Any must get recommendations? I'm already drowning into games to play but I though I could look into some gems. Also, though not indie, does anyone know about Square-enix's The Last Remnant? I'm kind of craving some nono western style rpg but am not sure if this is any good or if there would be any better alternatives.

@Sorano Well, I'm not sure if I have anything meaningful to say about OP other than I like it Actually it is currently only mainstream manga I like. It has some cool battles and that power level stuff in some degree, but does thing usually by so wacky ways that it doesn't really bother me. Even though battles are rather frequent, the crazy devil fruit powers seem to add enough twist to them that they feel different, unlike in lets say Dragon Ball. Also, there actually seem to be several plot points and interesting story arcs. I also like the sudden shifts between goofiness to serious stuff which happen once in a while. But that is just me To clarify though, I'm not real "fan" of the manga, but I like it enough to keep on eye it unlike the other mainstream ones.

It's something that needs to be clarified more. I think the biggest thing is that when you die, if you select the "play again" option, it starts you at the beginning instead of back where you were. You need to go back to the main menu and then select the level you were on, and that's not going to be clear to most players. This. I didnät know that there even were level selection. I just tried again after I died and it started at the beginning. It really needs clarification and perhaps "play again" should restart the current level, not return into first one. I can imagine I would want to quickly try level I failed again without having to wade into menues. Also, I think it is little unintuive too now.

cool story bro
I too am outraged and upset that independent game developers are trying to profit from their work using marketing tactics. I believe these practices should be limited to corporate publishers such as EA, Activision and Ubisoft. Yeah, with this rate all indies will be like Bobby Kotick That's it until they learn how to profit via other's games in courts by accusing creators using certain "registered" words in their game titles...

I liked it Some more spesific critique below. I think game was rather fun though I missed some things. First I couldn't figure how to exit the instructions screen. There just read "Good luck!" but after hitting enter and some other buttons, game didn't start. I finally reloaded the page to get back into main screen. So maybe a little text to show what to press maybe...? Then the actual gameplay. The gameplay was rather nice and simple. Reminded me of somekind retro game. The visual style and audio were good imo. I especially liked the voices of character which were rather hilarious. However, I think the space of the game was rather slow, at least at the first level. This was slightly boring, though it was fixed in the second level. Actually, I think the curve between the two were rather steep. First there is hardly any enemies and suddenly they flood in. It may be just my incompetence, but maybe decrease the enemy appearing a bit in the second level...? For me atleast it was after dieing in the second level, it felt a chore to replay the slow first one. The teleport mechanic felt rather weird. At first play I didn't get it since I wasn't fast enough to read the message. Even after reading it I kept teleporting accidentally to the midst of enemy horde. I really suggest you to come up a different control scheme for it or leave it out. Finally about the attacks of the main character. They were animated well but I think they would have needed perhaps more variability? At least I just pressed different attacks rather randomly and those attacks into sides felt a bit odd. Again, I may just suck but I think there could be made some refinement there, though I can't pinpoint anything. Hope this helps your development

Bought. Shame I already had MAchinarium and Osmos but I had been considering buying Braid for a while and other games looked funny. By this rate I'm drowning into games since I just bought Wii with NSMBWii, Brawl, Monster Hunter. And for pc SMB, Shatter and now these It also kinda saddens me the average Windows price is as low as $5.74 and overall $6.86 EDIT: Just realized that this would have been nice gift in TIGS's Secret Santa but I suppose everyone buy it immediately so my recipient might have already picked it up :D
