I have to get the gift tomorrow and send it ASAP. I already know one part of it but the rest is still rather open. I guess I'll make somekind mix of physical and digital gifting withs maybe little twist, I don't know.

Well, I have some vague ideas but the time is running so fast since I have school today till 8.00 PM (one exam)  I guess I should try to get the goods either tomorrow (except I'll probably spend day home reading for wednesday's exams...) or day after tomorrow and mailing the package instantly afterwards.

Lol :D Not an single idea what to gift. So far it looks like the total worth of gift either is lots of smaller than 15€ or lots of bigger. Plus my secret recipient didn't define anything s/he would like to have or even interests

Haha, that was funny :D Mostly because during my first playthrough of Ruby and Sapphire I put my little sister to do some mundane task (like search extra rare pokemon from this grass ) and later she claimed to have seen "a fish with legs". I tried to question her more but she couldn't remember what it looked like. I looked through pokedex and internet but couldn't find any pokemon fit for that description. Until today it was a mystery what pokemon it really were (I suspected Feebas) but now we had an answer 

Working couple of hours fighting with Photoshop trying to get my game sprite a correct colors. Turns out it looks completely different in actual game than in PS. Plus in the process all layers got messed up and I should just start whole thing again. Oh, and did I mention that my newer scanner sucks and can't take proper 1-bit scans but inevitably adds allkinds of gray in the picture? Screw you Canon!

I'm not sure about the motives of others here but I shared my wishlist and added some other stuff just to help people to decide what I like. So it were more like guideline other than strict "buy these" list. Finally I also left it open for gifter to gift whatever they want since I said I like surprises and weird stuff.

After all, if you hate let's say fps's you wouldn't like to get a fps game? Also every gifter here can't come up something clever and what receiver would like. People have enough problems to figure out what their IRL friends want/could like, so I think it is just convenient for both parties to have at least some material to work with since we are dealing with internet contacts here. At least I don't know what random TIGer would already have or like.

That is why I don't see problem with different wishlists at least if they are though at rough guidelines rather than enforced rules.

If everyone just gave each other what they asked for, you're basically just adding shipping overhead to buying yourself something.

Just to point out that everyone can't access to certain stores. For example I can't access US Amazon since my only viable payment options I know are Paypal and Visa Electron and both are unsupported by Amazon US.

But isn't linking to your Steam profile to enable  other to see your wishlist basically same thing as listing some wishes separately?

Probably out of option but have you tried to look into your Wii yourself? I assume your warranty is dated so it wouldn't be a problem? You never know if the problem is just some loose wire etc. and can be easily fixed by even some tape

Instead of that that or preferably after that buy a new Wii if you can't fix it. That's it if your warranty has already dated. IN case you get free repairs, just go and get it repaired and buy new one only after it breaks and you don't have warranty.

IS it worth of if I have tried playing it twice with computer and both times I haven't finished it?  Maybe actually paying for it would add more incentive to finish it. Also, I'm not really that interested in playing with computer generally.

Bought  red Wii bundle yesterday and being looking into suggestions here. Shame I can't access homebew since smash stack is US only  and I have 4.3 system :/ Looking into Wiiware for some nice titles.
