Yay! New Kanji! I would like to thank you, because for the first time I recognized some words on the menu at a chinese restaurant Who, Me? And yeah, my hits data sort of blew up but that's alright! Finally, I will tell you if the undefined character comes back.

Ooh. Alright, looking forward to keyboard -- and new classes sound exciting.
---> Do you think it might be interesting if the Wizard could somehow get more out of magic scrolls? Maybe something as simple as a 50% chance that anytime he uses one, it isn't lost. Might be too powerful though without making the class as a whole quite weak.

If you want to get this moved to DevLogs you either need to make with a total recreation of the thread there, or you can contact a mod and ask for their help.

EDIT WITH BUGS ::
I froze! I tried to use a basic attack while moving, I think, and I pressed enter too early. After that, I couldn't do anything (I could type, but the ENTER key never registered).
Also, sometimes enemies die (off-screen, usually) and they leave weird things where they used to be which acts like a solid block except there's nothing there. Can't walk through it, can't shoot through it.

OTHER STUFF ::
This is in kanjiTest, though, not the 'released'(?) version.

I will start a new post in the DevLogs section, but I'm waiting to finish up some new stuff first.

I've had that freeze bug before, but I haven't yet figured it out Lips Sealed  I've looked at the code for a long time with no luck in discovering the problem. I have some debug code in to give me some data when it happens. But since I put that code in, it hasn't happened again.

There was a problem I fixed recently that might be what you are finding with the monsters dying off screen. It was the generators. Something in the code was making them advance frames in their animation until it eventually played their death animation which removes the graphics from the screen. But it was still there blocking movement and making more monsters. Does that sound like what you saw?

Thanks again for the info and as far as I'm concerned, the kanjiTest is now the latest released version. Wink
