just tried out renekton. first game went 0/embarrassing score, second I went about 7/1

He's fun but man I don't think I've played a hero that needs cooldown as much as him. After getting 40% and some decent damage he was pretty nice to use. Fun to have a combo hero.

Patch maintenance is taking too long -- AKA: "Everything is right on track" in RiotGame time.  Wizard

It's like ValveTime(tm) except prone to more skewing or not happening at all >_>

I want someone to throw all of Karma's stuff on my Twitch already...Oh man I feel the love already. If someone would like to help, give me a ring when the server is up.

I also had the idea of someone lane-ing a Nunu with my Twitch and getting early Bloodboil and Snowball. He throws snowball on a squish hero and drops the blood buff on me, then I go to town with [Ambush] auto attacks/kiting/hero baby-sitting + [Expunge] finisher.


On a side-note: Twitch needs some love:
[Ambush]
+Put an Extra 2/3 seconds longer on stealth duration of [Ambush] on all ranks. This will make it a baby-step towards what it originally was like. 10 seconds doesn't feel long enough to do scouting at the beginning of a match, and if Riot nerfs this anymore, I'm switching to Teemo -- who can infinitely stand in one spot for as long as he wants and stay invis after 3 seconds.

[Debil. Poison]
+Give [Debil. Poison] a passive AOE slow effect to make it worth getting at level 3 or make it completely passive with Teemo style On/or Off autocast toggle. Make it extra sneaky and leave no debuff icons on champions, all they notice is they are moving a bit slower than normal.
OR
+Give [Debil. Poison] a passive effect that makes poison counters/stacks slow +2/3/4/5/6% more and do +2/4/6/8 more damage on each poison counter stack.

[Spray and Pray]
+Missiles (Twitch_Missile_units) are now 12% faster traveling through the air. This will make it so they won't miss as much and someone can't "lololololol" walk-back and forth through them and not take ANY damage. In some cases it was beneficial to NOT CAST [Spray and Pray] when trying to slay an enemy champion -- Ultimates should be fun and useful in most situations, not a hindrance! Was Twitch "praying" his attacks would ACTUALLY HIT SOMEONE in some cases? This is probably the BIGGEST reason you do not see Twitch played very often.

Mana regen was not nerfed. Read the patch notes again.

All Champions with mana had their base mana regeneration increased by 2.5 mana per 5 seconds and mana regeneration per 5 seconds per level increased by 0.2.

Mana regen runes were nerfed, and the regen gained from those runes was moved to the base stats of champions who use mana.

Not liking this patch...it's harder then ever to survive and +1 damage on dorans blade to compensate for no potions makes me laugh. Plus all the terrible public players are playing karma and doing really bad with her. Ooooooh boy.

Bad times in Twitch town, >4 losses in a row.

I had nothing but victories at one point.

No love for Twitch in patch notes...Makes me laugh even more >_>

Soraka changes are funny because she just needs a complete overhaul and remake.

I'm going to have to get Lion Kog'Maw, I just have to.

No health pot at the beginning hits me SOOOOO hard. Now I can't chug one before I try killing someone at levels 4-6, if I even try to at all now.  Shrug  Facepalm
It's really stupid, now I have to choose between 3 terrible starting items or just pots and hope I don't get mowed down because I start at only ~400 health.

All in all, this is pretty awful. I was feeling really good before the patch rolled out.

I honestly think that reducing mana regeneration is a good idea. It's so easy to spam your spells in this game. I've played DotA and the difference is huge.

For example if you play Sven or Skeleton King, you have two stuns and that's it. If you want more than two stuns you have to purchase mana items like Soul Ring (which drains your health) or Magic Wand (which needs to be charged up before use). This is a lot more interesting because you can't just throw spells at the enemies whenever you see them. You have to consider if you will truly benefit from that stun now or if you want to save it for a later situation when it might be more effective.

In League of Legends, if you purchase a Chalice or Tear and have mana regen runes and masteries, you basically have enough for the rest of the game and can cast all your spells whenever you want them, which is a bit weird considering how cheap those items are.

People keep saying this. What's wrong with current Soraka? She's very straightforward to play, which fits slow people like me perfectly, and she's excellent for what she sets out to be: support.

Still waiting for the Europe servers to come back up here... Why do they even need to turn the servers off when the patch arrives?

i don't like that the latest patch made soraka even weaker, she used to be my favorite champion but now i hardly play her any more; was she really that powerful at higher-level play that they had to make her weaker? i don't really see her used often

@Paul: this can't possibly Shurelia's planned soraka remake, can it? This "nerf" isn't actually that bad for her, it's building her more for late game buff-wise, and her heal didn't take that much of a hit, the buff part is just to coincide with the rest of the shield nerfs that happened. that increase in armor is going to be great though I think

I just played a few matches with my friends yesterday where one of them was playing soraka and constantly got scores like

4/0/16
12/0/26
2/2/10

and they constantly refer to what happened to soraka as a buff
and according to how he's been playing with her, it kind of is

The nerf to Doran's items was essentially a buff to every champion who is capable of healing. Soraka included.
