Actually, I like the new heal, as it offers some counterplay to tanks destorying you in every teamfight and makes no escape carries more viable. At least I can nope the fuck out from shyvana.

I feel like I don't do much damage against anyone as an ADC. Generally the tanks are in my face, murdering me, and the assassin's are in my face, murdering me, and I'm desperately trying to hurt someone, but I do damage to the tanks far slower than they do damage to me. What to do? (btw I don't play much adc, because of this reason)

individual rank mode is stupid because you have to rely on random people
it's just like solo queue, don't take it that seriously and if you're actually good at the game you'll rise out of silver/bronze/gold within 50 games. i was placed in silver due to league being ddos'd during my placement matches; i made the climb to gold easily with a 10 game win streak (league has systems in place that allow you to skip promotion matches if you're consistently performing above your current ranking) and i plan on making it to plat/diamond by season's end (currently 16/6 w/l) also you can duo with a partner if you really want to lol  |

Wait, if I duo'd with someone like John, who's like an addict to this game, would that artificially boost my mmr to far higher than it is, meaning that I play against golds and whatnot, or would I play against bronzies and have john carry me?

somewhere in between; we'd get some plats, some bronze. the average team mmr is always pretty close (within something like 20-30 pts) my current fave picks: amumu (as always, a solid pick for every team comp) leona (the best all-in support in the game) skarner (that feral flare item is such a godsend lol) |

Skarner is just nope, same with Amumu. They aren't even close to current top junglers.

I quit playing LoL because MMR exists. It got to a point where it was just butthurt every game and I wasn't that serious about it. I know some people like the competitive element but they should at least have an option for just-for-fun play (you'd think normals would be like that but they're not at all). And yes I know the argument that you'd just get the most skilled player dominating each game but I've played a lot of custom games with diamonds and sub-level-30s in the same game and it wasn't really like that at all.
TL;DR I would totally play this game again if they didn't make every match matter all the time.

yea man but thats kinda the nature of moba games. i also "quit" this game for the most part (if i can get a full team of friends then for sure i will play) but i really wish the community was more chill. normals, urf mode
people sadly get really mad in urf mode as well, which is a huge bummer.  |
