Concept:
This is a rather simple concept really. The easest way to get 100% of your money is through a mildly compex setup. Lets start with payapl for exsample. Paypal lets you use the "donate" buttion for little charge. If your a small business, its probly your best choice.

So how do you make donate work for you? Simple. "Donate" to purchase forum currency. Your forums as a small business our your key to success. Plus most forum systems have free addons for a "shop". The Shop is also another key. In the shop, you need to setup a feature called "pay to Download". Basicly a player or member has to use forum currency to "Download" your game. So in order to get money. He has to donate to your web site.

The legal side of all of this "jargin". Since its a donation. It makes legal hassel much easier. You almost dont need a lawyer at this point to review items. However, allways keep one handy incase issues arise. This also removes the idea of needing a account. Paypal will automaticly keep track of donations for you. So come tax time, its easy to file.

Is this kinda cheating the system? Short answer yes. Long answer no. You our simply using the system to your addvantage. Making the laws work for you is half the battle. The other part is getting people to purchase your products. That however, is a completely different topic.

Now for your larger companies. This is not ideal. The best system for you is a simple pay to "download" system. Lots of companies offer the service. Research will be your best friend. Before you buy any service, you should research it. Reseach is the key to a company that ethier "flops" or "wins". Winning companies do there homework. An take the time to make careful choices. However, luck plays a role as well. Anyone who says it was all skill. Has no idea what business is about.

Business is 50% luck and 50% oppertunity. There is no proven stragy to success. Its all a game of chance in the end. An the ability to see a oppertunity and grab it. The only thing stragy does for you, it gives you direction. You should use stragy to create oppertunitys. However, dont automaticly think opertunitys will just come to you. Look for them. Some oppertunitys our employee's, other business or other markets.

Now for big compaines. Big companies look for smaller companies alot. Why? Because they want the best they can get at a cheap price. So just because your small dont mean a big company is not watching you. If your a big company, then you know how much you depend on small companies for there services. An in a nasty econmy, price is everything. Every penny counts.

I hope these business tips help.

You claim a lot there without citing any examples or references. What are you basing your claims on? Experience, anecdotal evidence, or is this just how you think it is?

I think it helps to use a spell checker - and as Oddball says, make it a bit clearer whether you are talking from experience, or just hypothesising.

So, the way to get "the most money for games you sell" is to charge money for them? Mindblowing!

And if people have to pay to get your game, it's no longer a donation. Having to pay for the game with "forum currency" that you've bought via PayPal doesn't change that -- it just adds an unnecessary extra step for customers to go through if they want to buy your game.

Is this post for real?
