Desktop Dungeon Lofi Tileset by Oryx

Inspired by Hangedman's tileset conversion I decided to go ahead and create a custom set based on the Assemblee Lofi sprite set. I've also made everything pixel density consistent (minus the UI/fonts of course) as well as reworked or created new tiles as needed.

Version 1.0 Download:

oooh nice. Very good  Hand Thumbs Up Left

..yet another reason to play a couple of more rounds of desktop dungeons

There's a post on the blog concerning an enhanced, and commercial, version of Desktop Dungeons. Pretty cool stuff.

I did a Warhammer 40k themed tileset. Replaced everything.

I'm not sure how well I did or how much it makes sense but here is the general breakdown:

Playable Classes-
Fighter - Basic Space Marine
Thief - Scout Marine
Priest - Chaplain
Wizard - Librarian

Monsters(thought about some of them, some were arbitrary):
Animated Armour - Tau Battlesuit
Bandit - Dark Eldar Warrior
Dragon - Eldar Fire Dragon
Goat - Khorne Juggernaut
Goblin - Ork
Golem - Chaos Dreadnought
Goo - Nurgle Nurgling
Gorgon - Slaanesh Daemonette
Imp - Tzeentch Horror
Meat Man - Chaos Marine
Naga - Khorne Bloodletter
Serpent - Tyranid Hormagaunt
Vampire - Dark Eldar Incubus
Warlock - Chaos Sorceror
Wraith - Eldar Guardian
Zombie - Necron Warrior

Glyphs(Not sure if everybody sees them the way I do):
APHEELSIK - A poison filled bullet or something...
BLUDTUPOWA - Had no idea what to do so had this syringe injecting blood which turned blue
BURNDAYRAZ - A flamethrower
BYSSEPS - Power Sword
CYDSTEPP - Meant to be a Rosarius projecting a field...
ENDISWAL - A lascannon blasting a wall.
GETINDARE - A jump pack.
HALPMEH - The apothecary's sign. Just seemed appropriate.
IMAWAL - A rock with an unhappy face. There was no 40k equipment that fitted the role that I know of.
LEMMISI - Some tech-ey looking scanner thing.
WEYTWUT - A teleporter pack.
PISORF - A teleporter pack with a different colour... there just isn't a beamgun of random teleportation in 40k :<
WONAFYT - A teleporter homer. A signal for enemies to teleport to I guess.

Dungeon Tilesets:
Normal: Just some vanilla metallic dungeon.
Snake Pit: Tyranid infested desert of sorts, with tyranid spires being the walls.
Crypt: A Necron crypt.
Library: Meant to be Eldar-ish but it turned out weird.
Industrial: Another metallic sorta place, somewhat Imperial themed walls.
Forest: Just another forest.

Etc:
Altar: What I thought an Imperial altar would be like.
Shops: Space Marine Armoury.

I recently came across Desktop Dungeons (and enjoyed it, of course). I'm also trying to learn the ways of the pixel, so I started a little tileset:

It's my first tileset, actually. Just the normal level and a few monsters so far. I'm just dropping off a screenshot as I'm not sure if/when I'll finish it.

Here's a preview of a Tileset I'm working on, and unless by some miracle my Spring Break suddenly becomes interesting, it'll probably be up for download by the end of the week.

Fighter:
Thief:
Rogue:
Assassin:
Priest:
Sorcerer:
Transmuter:
Goblin:

Any feedback or ideas for characters that should show up would be greatly appreciated, although I think I've got most of them figured out.  And yes I know this will be outdated as soon as the new update comes out...

The style is also kind of all over the place right now, so even these are subject to change a little bit.  Spelunky, Glum Buster, and Steve? I'm all very pleased with.  The rest might need some touching up.  The crate box skull guy looks good but he clashes with everybody else.  If you're curious who else I've got pegged right now for each class and enemy, just ask.

BLEH! nobody want's to help a rookie :-D
doesn't matter, i already fugured it out myself...

hey, is there any chance to get a good savestate? i'm a bad player, and managed it only to the snakepit with fither and thief (please don't laugh).
it would be easier to design further levels, enemies and gamecharakters with a good savestate... so any, please PM.

yeah, thanks for nothing.
in the end all worked well with tedious renaming of the files...

here is my tileset, based upon edited sprites of makai toushi saga (better known as final fantasy legend), a little bit of minecraft and super mario bros.

Thought I'd give an update on the indie games tileset.  It's not quite finished, it easily could have been, but as with all things of this nature I got a little carried away.  All of the classes and enemies are done however and many have alternates (with more to come because I keep getting ideas) so here's a little preview.
Classes:
Fighter: Berserker: Warlord: Wizard: Sorcerer: Bloodmage(s): Thief: Rogue: Assassin: Priest: Monk: Paladin: Transmuter: Tinkerer: Crusader(s): Gorgon(s): Vampire: Half-Dragon(s):
Enemies:
Animated Armor: Bandit(s): Dragon(s): Goat: Goblin: Golem: Goo: Gorgon: Imp(s): Meat Man (Men):Naga:Serpent: Vampire: Wraith: Warlock: Zombie(s):
Stuff:
Altar: Altar(Worshipped): AttackBoost: HPBoost: MPBoost: Piety: Shop:
Tilesets:
Normal Dungeon with tiles ripped from Frogatto:

Snake Pit with Tiles ripped from Spelunky:

Crypt with tiles ripped from Yume Nikki:

Feel free to tell me if you don't like this crypt one, it's a little weird.
Factory with tiles ripped from Cave Story:

Now I have no clue what indie games have a "library" motif or level other than maybe Amnesia, but that would be better suited to the Crypt (I plan on making a Mr. Face alternate for the zombie) and is also, obviously, a 3d game and I can't rip tiles from it.  Any help coming up with the library tileset would be much appreciated.  I haven't unlocked Lothlorien yet but I plan on using Minecraft tiles depending on how that looks, although every game has a forest level so it won't be a problem if it doesn't work out.

Tell me what you think! I definitely want feedback: suggestions, questions, personal insults, racial slurs, anything you have to offer.  Beer!

And to clear up any confusion, every class, item and enemy does in fact originate from some Indie game except for the goat, who is meant to look like the deer from Endless Forest.  Think of him as a particularly pretentious goat.
