oh well, at least i'm in america, the only place that matters.
land of the free, home of the people who get to play good jrpgs

yeah i don't get atlus. even NIS has a european branch (or sub-branch or whatever). also there's download shops on all major systems now, so the cost of limited production runs of niche games isn't as much of an issue anymore.

but internal game industry politics are kinda strange anyway. no one has ever been able to coherently explain to me why some consoles are region locked and others aren't for instance.

The seamless transition between dungeon layers in 3D looks amazing. Just hoping for some decent difficult dungeon design!

Seems to me that it's a completely new Zelda, only in the same world as LTTP.

Looks like they're using the depth nicely with new itens and making. Finally adding something to the 2D Zelda gameplay formula, I'm happy that 2D Zelda is not dead yet.

LTTP is one of my favorite games so... yeah I'm excited!

any links?

I see what you did there!

Game looks cool. Hope it lives up to its predecessor, though those are some pretty big shoes to fill.

I just hope that it actually feels more like old 2d Zeldas an less like ones on DS. I mean they were fun, but rather short and overly easy compared to LttP or Game Boy (Color) titles.

I kind of recognized it. The overworld map isn't that big.

I recognized it pretty much instantly when I saw the video. The overworld map is small, and I've played the game a few times anyway.

If LttP2 is more new content than old, I'm good for it. The graphics for the worm boss look ugly, though.

Mario and Luigi looks like it'll probably be fun (plus, if the level design is similar to Bowser's Inside Story, I'll be happy) but the graphics aren't exciting me. Something about the battle animations seemed really stiff. They should just go with hand-drawn sprites. I like that they keep thinking up new ideas for how you interact as a team.

Nintendo's been doing some good releases lately, I think. After the rocky start with 3DS rehashes I was worried, but I think they've figured out a pattern. Now they just need to start releasing worthwhile WiiU games. I still haven't bought anything since launch.

Saw it right away. I was impressed by how faithfully they'd recreated the world. Though now that you mention it, I've probably played all the way through the game 15 times or so...
