TIGSource seems fine to me!  I think people like Paul love to encourage this idea of "big indie" and "small indie" and that this division is somehow tearing TIGSource apart?? (DRAMA)

But it's made up!  Have you ever been to a TIGJam?  Or GDC?  Or any indie game dev meetup?  They're amazing lovefests of incredible inspiring people.  It's just a bunch of bipeds making awesome shit all the time.  It's so good!  TIGSource is doing great, and the indie games scene continues to make me so happy and inspired on a daily basis that it's hard to put into words how much it matters to me.

You know what I love about TIGSource? I love that I can come here and get input and feedback and have discussions with both inexperienced but fledging developers (like myself) and tons of (in my eyes) successful people that are so extremely helpful.

It gives me hope for the future when I get to talk to all the extremely talented people here on TIGSource and I can't imagine why anyone would want to have this wedge between different groups of developers because honestly it's only there because people keep harping on it.

TLDR VERSION: You make TIGSource worse in a very real, measurable way, by reliably and consistently saying offensive, ignorant things about people and projects who are innocuous at worst without bothering to do any research first.  It takes discussions off topic and wastes everyone's time.  You are actively crafting a very specific, deliberate narrative of how you imagine the indie games scene to be in order to draw attention to yourself.  It's bullshit, and I have no time or patience for it anymore.

I'm super-excited for the tigsource makeup sex.

Going from $22k to $10k is a bit of a worry, either they are dropping a lot of planned stuff or originally overestimated their funding requirements to begin with.  Does anyone know if they have made any videos like this before?
