I suppose I might as well go since I live in SF and now that I'm working the $50 ticket won't be a big deal... Looks like a lot of familiar faces will be there, along with a few I've worked with. The only problem is I don't really have any projects planned Sad At the very least, I'd just like to go for the social aspect and get inspired to work on stuff.

EDIT: OH NO... Tickets are sold out?? Sad

Yeah, please fix the messaging on the tigjam page.  I tried to buy my ticket fairly early and no where did it say that it was sold out - it just said they'll contact me when they become available.  This makes things extremely unclear, and quite honestly I'm very disappointed that I'll probably not be able to go now because of this.

I'll be a sad puppy if I can't get a ticket for this... I think the site is set up the way it is to screen the people who are trying to get tickets... To keep people like that rapscallion "phubans" from getting in!  Cry

There's a lot of change with this TIGJam in location, logistics, attendees, etc. In order to maintain sanity, we're limited at 50 people. Hacker Dojo can handle MUCH more. Next year I think we should be able to let everybody in. If you're still really set on coming (like are in the area or already bought a plane ticket or something), we can work something out. Let me know.

Eh, I just thought it would be cool to go since it's relatively easy for me to get down there and I've never done a TIGJam before, but alas...

So many indie devs live in the Bay Area... it makes me sad that I moved to SoCal...  Concerned

Not that I would be able to go anyway... damn you, legal drinking age!

I didn't see anything about an age limit on the tigjam site?

I just assumed that since there would (probably) be booze, folks under 21 would be a no-no.

I hope that's not true, 21 is like nine months away from me D:

and I don't drink anyway which would make it suck all the more.
