If you ever do a second round of this competition, you should make it so that you are forced to accept the first name that the generator gives you.

That would just make it less fun.

I think that would be pretty cool, although there would be no way of monitoring it.

this competition isn't really a competition and doesn't have prizes and it's seems to be more for the fun and creativity. Now if it was to be a real competition there should be a way to monitor abuse and cheaters, maybe propose a list of names and participants would have to chose from these names only. There is already a pretty big list of names in the other thread.

This is the greatest prize-less competition since... Well, since the last TIGS contest. There is currently 4 pages of entries!! And I keep falling in love with the game in each thread I go to. Voting for this contest is gonna be tough. I think they are all winners.

So... what time zone are we using here? Also, is that midnight Monday as in one minute after 11:59pm Monday, or one minute after 11:59pm Sunday? I gotta plan my last minute panic

Hoping it's PST, means it'll be 8pm Tuesday in NZST... Having said that, I could always can tell when a uni assignment was going pear-shaped by me checking the time it was due in rather than the day!

The rules are a bit vague on this, but are demos allowed for final submission? I haven't actually been planning on finishing the game in time for the competition, so there's just no way that is going to happen regardless of wether it disqualifies me or not Also, what are the rules on sexual content?

Anything playable is fine, whether it's a demo or not. If you want to submit it, you're in! I'm thinking the judging will be by poll once again.
And sex is always encouraged.

Can there be multiple judging categories / multiple polls? I think it'd be fun to have something for funniest entry, best name, etc, as well as overall best.

I think it's sad that there has to be any losers. They are all winners in my book. In fact I think I'll announce the...
'Oddball Award For Special Achievement In The Field Of VGNG Competition Entries'
And the winner is...
*opens envelop*
*fanfare plays*
ALL OF THEM
Well done guys.
Please feel free to make your acceptance speeches.

Who owns/maintains the video game name generator? is it operated by the TigSource organization?
I was just wondering, would it be permissible to use the generator for holding custom mission competitions related to other games and game mods (e.g., Half-life, Thief, etc.)?
