Memory? Really? Does it have to store a different mesh for each deformation you think? Still, that seems really weird when there can only be 6 different characters playing at a time...Those must be some super polygon heavy models. No B.B hood is lame, guess I'll have to wait for Super MvC3  or DLC for her. Howard the Duck would TOTALLY make up for her though. Dr. Strange would have been cool. How crazy would it have been if they just stuck to using 2d sprites? I don't think you could fit enough character selection icons on the screen!

N.E.T.O. ...and DDR's PARANOiA? o.O EDIT: Oh! Interesting... even though most recurring Marvelites have MSH remixes, IronMan's is a remix of War Machine's theme! Wise pick, and IMO, one of the better sounding ones. At least that being in techno makes sense. Spidey/Cap's needs more guitar, though.

im 1000% convinced the "would take too much memory" part is a complete lie
maybe thats their reason for not having more than one model on some characters but im still inclined not to believe that
(characters like Captain Commando who have their own extra characters, and MvC style Morrigan who fuses with lilith and uses some supers involving her)
waaaay too many cool characters deconfirmed, but
im betting a lot on sequels for this, this WILL be bigger than SF4 in north america

a lot of the choices are fucking crimes IMO
way too many same origin characters
also every female character but 2 is "this guy but with tits"
X23 -> Wolverine Spider-Woman -> Spider-Man Hulk -> She-Hulk Thor -> Storm Dante -> Trish
some comic book fans been telling me, some have different powers. this is me giving a fuck, i know theyll play at least slightly differently, but in a universe as big as marvel where every superpower ever exists its dumb as fuck to have two people with the same
i personally wouldnt like MMZ Zero but i know a lot like that (childish hheh) design, however they DID say the MMX fans would be pleased so sorry about that i guess
i dont get why theyd choose c.viper but she was semi-confirmed via silhouette

Uhm, you can change animations and still have basically the same attack.. When talking about BB Hood I didn't talk about Cool Hunting specifically but more about standard moves. I can understand when character morphing with standard moves can be difficult to do, but for a special move getting two more characters on-screen can't be the problem.

I think the problem with morphing and such is not a matter of memory, but rather that it takes more space to store the meshes and it means the animators can't just use interpolated keyframes for animation.
