...mmmh wait, blitz3d, not nice at all.
(i'm using it at job because the other coders are lazy and the boss doesn't want to spend time having they skilled on c++ so i hate that stupid, limited, crappy, noobish language)

well, the model is nice, i'll keep an eye on this project Smiley

ya, I can't imagine using it in a real production environment, but for the individual indie, it's a great low-cost solid engine with a huge support community. And for programming noobs like myself, it makes us feel tough. Or something.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it Smiley

This game is killing me, but in a good way. I finally got the main portion of the HUD working, now I have to add a few more meters and the UI will be finished. I have 90% of the game objects modeled and in the engine, but everything is still unlit and untextured. Hoping to get to that tonight. Anyway, here's some gameplay screens:

Sorry to break the forum with my wide shots Cheesy Also, ignore the two white bars in the upper right. I have to work on his rocket trail and really hoping to at least animate his mouth, but you can get a sense of how he chases the truck.

bah, so much to do!

You had me at 'the house has a gaping maw that devours children and trucks.'

This is my new favorite thing ever.

This looks promising!  Even if you don't finish it in time for the comp, I think you should keep at it!

I've thought about it, but doing 2D probably is more doable before the deadline. Technically my game in progress for this competition is 3D too, but I am probably only going to use sprites and a topdown view to save time.

Your game is looking great though, keep at it!  Grin

I am silently working on a game that will perhaps use some 3D elemnts for decoration, not sure if I'll finish in time though. With blitz basic 3D.
