My favourite bug so far:
After reuniting Rhonda and Tabitha, I reverse pickpocketed some C4 on Tabitha to kill her. After going inside and back out again, I see this:

Rhonda's head-thing was floating a hundred feet or so up in the air, still asking for a doctor.

Reminds me of a bug I have encountered lately in Dawn of War 2 where death corpses that get knocked back where a building is being to randomly spin in the air as if they were sucked by a tornado.

I love the fallout series, first two games took many many hours of my time. Fallout 3 was decent enough to make it playable IMHO, but bland-ish, not much unlike Bethesda's previous works.
New Vegas for me has that perfect blend of F3 and F2, though many things could be improved (like I dislike having to go through a textual inventory in a game that has waaaaay too many different items, and I very much dislike VATS and would prefer it to be either real time or bullet time).
The hardcore mode is great, but so far seem quite easy (I'm only level 7), I even LOVE all the bugs :D makes it feel like Fallout2 even more har har!

Does the night vision perk turn the screen all blue like cateye does?? If so, I'm glad I didn't pick it... I honestly don't find that helpful at all...

It does not.

I just installed Fellout and it makes the game look so much better

I remember using it in Fallout 3, and liking it a lot. It actually makes the nights much darker. And makes cateye actually useful.

This mod also makes the UI much better: http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34902

possible spoiler, but not main-quest related
I found the Mysterious Stranger's son. Go to El Dorado Gas & Service and walk the road up North and he's camping out by a billboard. Probably go to the Top's theatre first, because if you get the guy a job there you will get a Barter speech option and he'll give you his pistol. Which plays the mysterious stranger perk jingle when you pull out the gun. You could also kill him for it, though.
