Hello Everyone!

Tired of hearing party noises from out east in Toronto, I and a fellow indie decided to create our own indie meetup group.  Vancouver is chock-full with game companies!  It's mind-boggling that we don't have something like this yet.

If you're in Vancouver and you want to get to know your fellow indies, come and meet everyone in Yaletown on May 20th.  After the inaugural meetup, we can start a GameJam or talk about things that are on our mind.

Our first gathering was a great event.  It was an amazing experience to see so many Vancouver developers at one place.  We had some challenges fitting everyone into the venue, but we managed to overcome small details like that.  It was so fascinating to talk to fellow indies that I wasn't bothered by such distractions.  Overall, I think that the first meetup was a success.

I got to meet Justin Smith, of Enviro-Bear fame.  I didn't even know that he was in Vancouver!
