Yea, I think it remains to be seen in the final film how it's presented. We all know trailers can take things way out of context, create the wrong impression.
The trailer kinda puts me off the film, if only because it focuses on people that are already fairly prominent and respected. Would be nice to see some love for the weirder folk. It's a pretty slick presentation, though, and I'm sure the editing will be top notch. I just don't know if I will watch it, since it feels like I already have a good grasp of what the promoted artists are going to say or talk about.
It would've incredible if they followed someone completely unknown just working on something, and followed the trials / tribulations and whatever came of it. They would've been pretty lucky to find the right person though.
There was another Kickstarter with a slightly more unusual cast of indies, "You Meet The Nicest People Making Videogames". It was awfully amateur though, and fall far short of the funding (tbf, I think they gave it a really small timeframe like a week or smth
