Most often if you join the irc channel usually people will be willing to give you some initial feedback.

Last time he posted a game there everyone ignored him. I was the only one that bothered. This was before he actually had any posts on the forum or a reputation. I don't blame him for being salty.

The beef against Zaratustra though, I dunno what's up with that. I guess everyone's gotta have beef with someone. It does make things a bit more interesting around here though.

I know Zara from another forum where he talked shit about me, but the beef I had with him here was that he literally can make a empty topic, and get 3 pages of replies. Like the topic had no title and just said "june 7th."

Yeah, it is kinda bullshit that people get hype for some people even for no reason but that's just how things are. When you release something and it gets a lot of fans, you can announce anything and expect a response.

I'm not a big fan of Eversion, but say if CBoyardee where to announce Barkley: Shut up and Jam 2, I would be all over that shit. Even if it was just a blank post hinting at nothing.

Don't worry about it. As bullshit as it is, acting like this isn't going to help you. Just keep working on your games and maybe eventually release something. Then you too can make blank posts about nothing and get tons of responses.

Though I gotta say, if people are not giving feedback because of stuff like that, that's pretty lame. Yeah, people should be patient, but people should also expect to get timely feedback on things they are actively working on.
