The previous one (not Veo's) looks lifeless to me, like he is a puppet/doll or something. Like a cookie boy or whatever. That's my impression of it though. I think the eyes give a sense of "hollowness" in them (specially since i'm pretty sure there is a dark shade of his skin color next to it).

Overall, I prefer Veo's colors too. But if you guys think it's too far away from the original artwork, meh.

I changed the angle he's holding the gun if he's going to shoot while running.

His back arm is really weird. Holding the gun out works even if he's not shooting because that's how he always holds it in game, even though you don't shoot very often.

EDIT: we also need to fix the level portrait now, with the new colours and spiky hair.
