I wouldn't want to touch someone who I am gigantically attracted towards but who is in a very concertedly romantic, monogamous, and long-term partnership with someone else.
This seems oddly specific

A petri dish with agar and unknown other. A baby lamb whose mother will abandon it if it has the smell of a human on it. A Buddhist monk (at least, women aren't supposed to touch them.) Ham with a hologram on it.

This game sounds awesome!!
Does this mean that you finish the game when you neco touch the cat??
I'm particularly interested what happens to a cat which has been successfully touched.

Yeah, that build doesn't do anything yet lol. The current build I'm working on has full cat-touching capabilities, but I screwed something up with the cursor-target collision detection so the current build isn't uploaded yet since it just crashes when you click the mouse. God-willing I'll have a "playable" build tonight. After I get the collision detection working, adding all the other features will be a breeze.
Other features: -enemies -moving targets -weird-shaped targets -alterable cursor directions -working points system -achievements(?)

I like it JR, it very simple but polished...feel very warioish. I'd love to have the target also moving, as the game gets harder, or an animation that keep changing the target size and color, to confuse the player... well done

Also this: I was just going to mention that Nothing like failing to touch a cat because of a shoving a finger up a pig's ass It's weird, polished and fun, but I think you should focus on making it challenging. Some ideas: -Speeding up the cross -Changing the color of the cross in constant intervals (an decreasing those intervals) -Some sort of score that gets reset when failing (And back to "easy slow mode") -Moving the target (as mentioned) -All of the above Keep it up!

Thanks guys for the encouragement! I don't know where y'all are getting "polished" from, cause to me it feels buggy as heck.
Most of those I was planning to do, although changing the colors of the cross at intervals I hadn't thought of, and also makes me think about changing the colors of the target too. Anyway the rest of those will likely get implemented in the next few days. I'm also going to have the target sections move independently once the difficulty ramps up.
After I get the gameplay down pat I'll add a title screen, character selection, options, etc. I also gotta play more of your guys' demos and contribute some critique too haha.

Thanks! Probably going to change it out later, but I felt like it wasn't complete without some goofy music.

I suggest you make the current color more explicit (for instance, by changing the color of the cat), and not make the upper portion bulls-eye-shaped, because then you just feel compelled to hit the center rather than a particular color. The guy's expression deserves to be stronger when he fails! But I'm really liking this.

I really like this. Sometimes I think I get lucky, or accidentally abused a glitch, since I got a huge streak of yellows, so I just had to click as fast as I wanted to.
