Sorry about the delay.

This weeks theme is: Plotting your tactics!

Be it your characters planning their mission, or perhaps a battle about to begin. Make with the music!

To start the week off, I wrote this little ditty. I like it so much, I might continue writing it. But this is a pretty good start.

Edit: Also, in order to give folks more time to write, this weeks theme will be extended until May 10th.

Second edit: Updated with bass.

I don't know why but it reminds me a bit of the (absolutely great BTW) music for Warcraft II...

Briliant work!

Now where the heck is my entry...

Our hero returns home triumphant!

http://rapidshare.com/files/33243746/home.ogg.html

It was written rather quickly and lacks a proper ending.

DrPetter (DrPepper?)

You're my newest hero. I love musagi. It has a level of abstraction that I like and it works much better than any note sheet or tracker that I've tried before. Be that of course that I'm totally music illiterate but I'm making progress using musagi.

/ Rob

ps. The forest tune is great too

I'm assuming the challenge is still open? In that case I'd like to submit an update/replacement and ask that you ignore the first one Wink

http://www.cyd.liu.se/~tompe573/bforest.mp3

The main loop is very short in this one as well, but there's some build-up in the beginning and a proper ending, so it's a little bit less annoying.

Still using musagi.

I'd say this fits in pretty well... not exactly for the challenge, but I'll do another one soon

I really dig those drum sounds!  Especially that high clave sort of thing.  It reminds me a bit of "In Dark Trees" by Brian Eno.

And here is my bit of music: http://rs101.rapidshare.com/files/33605187/shoot_the_core.ogg.html

Nice tune. Here is some of mine.

http://m.soundcloud.com/voytekpavlik/horror-industrial-dance

This one is an industrial dance ala Combiechrist.

A 7 year old thread was suddenly revived by some random guy posting links to his own music... ?

This is indeed very strange...

I had some people coming from this website who purchased music I made, so I decided to check out what's going on here from some time to time.  Blink

Oo, something new!

http://voytekpavlik.bandcamp.com/track/people-vs-police

Inspired by the police and industrial music like Combiechrist.
