About the Game: Secret of Escape is a fast paced stealth game, originally made in the Midsummer Jam Week. The game utilised one of the jam's theme, SECRET, by having the player attempt to locate a secret item within one of the levels in order to receive the good ending. After getting good reception from friends and players online, I decided to continue development.

So I'm going to be showing off this game at the Norwich Games Expo, and I figured I'd let you in on a little effect I've been working on. Check out the difference:

Before

After

That effect alone was one weeks worth of work!

I was originally going to release the game today, but due to some pressure I've been under, I've decided to delay the game. Considering that I've now added two new levels (making the total level count so far: 28) and I've implemented some alpha blending and shadow casting, and further improved the turret light blocking from the last post. I'd say this has been worth it thus far!
