I'd like to say right now that if anyone has a working copy of Game Maker for Macs, I'd be happy to pass along the source file to see if we can compile a binary on Max OS X. I suspect the netplay systems are interfering with using the game on WINE and other emulators.

I have moved the website to it's final location at http://sleights.revasser.net/. On there, you can find everything, from current versions of the game to all the old backlists of files.

I'm still not in the position I'd like to be in regards to making a proper expansion framework. This is partly a tabletop game, and games like those that have too strict of a ruleset tend to attract the types that constantly reference the playbook to object to your every move - serious business, not fun. Sometimes, to have good fun requires changing the rules outright, and I wanted to an expansion set going to help enable that, but the playtesters just aren't available to me right now.

Oh yes, this might seem totally nerdy, but I decided to try and graph the growth of the game over time.

I'll need to find a better graphing system to make it more proportionally accurate, but my guess is it will eventually end up like an f(x) = log x function - as in the game or my productivity.

I see the Rulebook v2 still has the same base ruleset. That's great, it will be very easy to expand on this, and provides a solid, easy to understand base.

I recently had an idea for a heavier modification of Sleights where the patterns determines where your mage can move, and it is the only way to move a mage (so only one move per turn) and also you remove the opponent's mages my moving into them, much like in chess. I'm curious if those chess-like mechanic will make the game more about prediction and planning overhead.
