Whenever I stroll through the game section at supermarkets, I look at the shitty movie tie-in GBA games, and I go "I know this games sucks, but I can't help thinking the 'spriting is so good.'"

Oh man, Dragonball Advance Adventure was so kickass. Arguably the best DB game.

The sidescroller on Wii looks really fun but I never got around to buying it. So I'm inclined to agree that Advanced Adventure is the best!

Also, Astro Boy Omega Factor for GBA had yummy graphics.

This, in my opinion, is how a game with outstanding pixel art looks.
This is beautiful! I love everything this guy makes. Why didn't anybody tell me sooner?!

It's interesting, it was on a bunch of gaming blogs for about a week, and then the developers got pretty quiet. They haven't said much since, but from what I can gather, it's still in development.

I think they showed an early build at a conference or some other such thing, and just haven't really released anything since then.

^ I hope the screens don't look like that mess of an upscaled emulation.
But yeah, that game has awesome art.

And yeah, Golden Sun is prerendered.

Did anyone say Gods yet? So gloriously Amiga it hurts, and delicious gem animations. Also, I noticed when making a wallpaper out of the title screen... It's in widescreen dimensions when the black is removed.

You know, I honestly think that looks a little bit pillow shadey.

BoF4 is one of the best animated games ever. The sprites are just plain delicious. :D

Well, the main character of Gods is definitely the weakest point graphically.
Also, he grunts a lot and can't jump straight up or attack while ducking. Man, that game can be frustrating. In a sorta good way.

The weirdest thing is the beige stones, they're like... all dithering.
