Some new stuff:
Added in Wrapped Brush drawing in the Box tools (Box / Square options) Added in Stretched Brush drawing in the Box tools (Box / Square options)
Didn't take as long as I thought.

Experimenting with new palette swatch markers (a top-left corner triangle, and a top-right corner triangle) to see how that works.
I'm going to start tweeting about D-Pixel and see if I get a bit more response there.

Thanks Surt I've fixed a problem where wireframe grids were being drawn off of the canvas and onto the background area in a zoom window. Also added back in the Brightness slider for pixel based line/check grid options.

After hunting through my old netbook I found the ideas spreadsheet with a ton of old ideas by Surt. All in all there are 236 entries, but not sure how many are useful, or implementable! :D

Ok, now it's getting interesting! Added secondary left and right mouse button drawing types (paint, dropper, erase, scroll, or none). These activate if the mouse button is held down for a user-specified amount of time at the start of a drawing operation and is also not moved. So if you are on a laptop without a mouse you could have the scroll canvas option activate on holding down the left mouse button (as if you pressed a middle mouse button):

Added a grey-scale view option to the palette in D-Pixel. Using R’G’B’ coefficients 0.2126, 0.7152, and 0.0722 as per the Rec. 709 standard. Looks a bit flat with vivid colours when going to grey-scale, but I don't think that's to do with the coefficients. If you are on Twitter I am posting updates at #DPixel. Please comment

Cool! This is really looking great so far. Are you updating the builds anywhere, or are you planning to release this updated version later? Also, I know you think Linux is too hardcore for you at the moment, but do you plan to eventually tackle it? Or perhaps just adopt a "wait and see" kind of approach?

I'll release a version at some point as there is still a lot to do first.
for Linux - "wait and see"
Cheers! Richard

Greatly optimised the paint mode effects, making them run much faster.

The Paint Modes panel (including the 4 new modes I've just implemented): All these paint modes are implemented.

Started work on a tilemap mode. Here it is detecting unique and duplicate tiles:

Ok, so if you turn on the tile mapping mode it uses the size of the grid settings to look for duplicate tiles. Now if you draw on a tile (but don't yet release the mouse button), then you get this: When you release the mouse button and the drawing action is finalised then any duplicate tiles are also updated: Useful for when you are working on tiles and how they look in a scene.
