Added grid grab tool to D-Pixel where you can draw a box on the screen over a tile/area and get the size and x & y offsets from that (rather than using the sliders).

Improved the look of the sliders in D-Pixel a little bit. Also made the Saturation & Value colour sliders work from 0-255 instead of 0-100.

So any hope of a new build with these fancy tiling features?

Converted the old 'Resize Image' GUI panel to work in the new version. This was the last panel that needed changing to work in the new style.. now all of them have been converted.  Gomez

As well as the normal RGB / HSV sliders and tools, I've added a secondary 'Colour space Selector' GUI Panel to D-Pixel.

Added dynamic scaling for vertical icon spacing.

This means that on startup D-Pixel will adjust the spacing between icons in the vertical dimension to fit into the screen (minus the taskbar). So for users with a double size taskbar it won't cut off any part of the GUI. Also at lower screen resolutions where the taskbar is a bigger proportion in size compared to at higher screen resolutions, it will still scale to fit ok in the screen size.

There is also a difference in the GUI size between the original version of D-Pixel and the new version. The old version only had space for 9 icons vertically in the main tool options (a legacy of supporting 1024 x 600 for netbooks). Whereas the new version has space for 15 icons vertically. This gives me much more room when designing the GUI panels, although of course it's never enough for some tool options!  Wink

Some more bug fixing and tidying up of GUI panel layouts.

Does anybody have a monitor or laptop with a resolution of more than 1920 x 1080? I'd be interested to see how D-Pixel looks at higher resolution screenmodes.

Thanks  Smiley

I hope to be able to release the first new version of D-Pixel sometime next week. In the meantime if you have any ideas for Pixel Paint programs then let me know. I'd like to make a list of possible ideas / features. That doesn't mean I will implement them though, just that I'd like to get some more ideas..  Gentleman

Thank you!  Smiley

There isn't any animation support yet. That is something I'd like to do, but I'm not an animator so not sure how best to do it. I'll have to look at how other programs implement it.

Added in Rotate Brush and Undo last brush operation tools. Smiley

Rotate Brush was the last feature I wanted to add in prior to a first release. Now I need to fix a few broken things and try to test everything for more bugs before release. Lips Sealed

Fixed bug in palette tools where ;get colours from brush; wasn't working.

Fixed bug in palette tools where recolouring images to use new colours wasn't creating an undo image first.

Cleaned up GUI layout for palette tools.
