I've been using my real name since the previously mentioned niceness shakedown, my username has always been one step away from my real name since some time in highschool, so I figured it wasn't that big of a deal.

Think I'm the only one with middle name. Pretty much everyone in the world neglects their middle name, leaving it to rot.
I go by my middle name. My first name is robert but it's some sort of weird tradition for the males in my family to go by their middle name. I've always used my real name online, or in games. Not usually my last name though. I could never get used to people calling me by a nickname or online handle, it made me uncomfortable when people called me by my internet nick name in video games or forums. So I just started going by allen. Makes it really difficult to sign up for websites using just my name though, so I usually add an l to make it alllen (like my tumblr) as it's more attractive than adding numbers to it. |

I tend not to use my real name in forums and games, though I've never really considered why, paranoia maybe... or maybe Praetor is my real name?  Also, I just googled and I share my name with a "CSI" character...  I go by my middle name. My first name is robert but it's some sort of weird tradition for the males in my family to go by their middle name. haha, my middle name is alan, definitely the cooler spelling  EDIT: Oh woah, didn't know it was possible to just change your name in the profile settings; guess I'll go by my real name then! |

But the government paperwork hasn't gone through yet (although strangely, apparently it's not necessary.)

Where is it from?
It's an anglicisation of Souillard, a French name. It's unique to my family, so anyone with the last name Soulliard is somehow related to me. Strangely, when I was younger I thought the name was kind of weird. Only recently have I realized how awesome it is.  |

"TheDustin" is stupid, I made it up because it was a riff on "The99th" -- another member of PTT. I would go for just "Dustin", but there's another dude named 'dustin' here and I would be a dick to ask him to change his seeing as how he was here first. I could go for my full name of "Dustin Smith", but smith is such a fucking boring last name.
I dunno, I'm taking a break from the internet anywho so whatever.
