In all seriousness, though, I also have a pretty cool idea for this. Unfortunately, there is the small matter of exams, so I don't know if I'll get around to it.

Well, this sounds like a job for the smallest legible font imaginable :D I've just spent the last ten minutes creating a little 5x1 pixel font that uses sub-pixelrendering to squeeze 3 horizontal pixels into 1 pixel. I tried using less vertical space but it became totally unreadable. You should be able to make out what it says if you squint and look really closely at it:  Don't bother blowing it up though, because this is all you'll see:  It's worth noting that this only works on LCD monitors because of the way the RGB division works, so if you're using a CRT you won't see anything  Oh, and you'll probably have to be at the maximum resolution that your monitor supports. It would be awesome if somebody used this in their entry |
