Hello !

At first I thought TIG forum was about programming question and finished project only. I didn't know we could show unfinished stuff, thanks for the info Derek   !

Here's my project, it is named " Side Effect " .

      ( Donovan : Gameplay # 1)                   (Maria: Gameplay #2(The the car scale is a bit wrong.. but heh ))

I'm working on this project tremendously since 3 year now . The gameplay is a little complex, It's a game divided on 4 main character( Platform Shooting/exploring and Platform beat'em up . As seen above. And A-rpg zelda-esque and mario-esque Rpg , As seen below ) . I may have wished more than it is possible to accomplish, but I'm working with my eyes popping out everyday though...

Well , since I"m working on it since 3 year , I may have improved a bit, so the graphic are not the same everywhere! I'm now learning how to program this whale of a project. Some music have been completed too! Story and event are all written . Dialog too , now working to have it translated in english too !

(The game take place in the real world. Many place in the game are actually real place.)
Story summary:
Montreal, along with some other city,is exactly at the border of a parallel universe anomaly,which have separated Earth in two.One half being Earth, the other one being a chaotic dimension scourged by a mysterious crystal-like purple element named " Dominium".

Earth , fused with the other half, is slowly dying to the Dominium . Four character , along with the rest of the earthlings , will  be contaminated by the crystal and gain strange power ( I'm not gonna spoil it all  , I will finished this game . Even if I have to sacrifice a young virgin to a dark lord. hehe,kidding! ) .The four main character shall join forces eventually.

(This one is a little dark , but in full screen it's much more visible )

So , I think that's it! Right now I'm programming 2 mini-game named : "Crusader" and " Depth" to gain some Exp. ! Check them out .

The graphics is cool, and the game looks intriguing! I hope you can maintain the different mechanics tied together! I've a doubt about the water effect: has it more frames during the game? Because they looks too few in the image you posted. However, I'm going to wait more information by you, congratulations!

Thank you very much  . Yes , well the water was animated manually , I had two layer of water image ( one lightly lowered ) then I erase big rectangle over it from the top to the bottom. It's cool when you manually do this , but maybe I should use a program , thx for the tip !

I really like weird creepy games like this and your graphical style suits it perfectly. The pic with the bus chocked full of wailing pink zombies definitely has a Silent Hill vibe about it which I love.

I'll admit I scare easily, but few games give me such bad a case of the jibblies.  Well done(?)
