Hello!

Here's a mini-game completely finished (except for the programming) with music too ! The mini-game can be secretly unlocked in the greater game, by Simon Barbarie , named : " Melias Canon : The Melting Fortress " .

The game is named " Depth" .

After many thousands years of space travel , one of the crew member awake. His name is Serge. Aboard the starship Lynx ( Do you see the "wink" Well, hello there! ? ) , Serge must evaluate and repair many things before going back into cryo-sleep .

( All the ship ! You cannot see it like that while playing though )

The game is pretty much just going from point A and to point B . A Mother computer will tell your objective.

Starship Lynx have many room . When you got a mission from the M.C. you must do it quickly as you can to obtain a higher score.( It's just a mini-game after all  Wink) . At some point there will be life threatening event ! Even something else aboard.... Well, hello there!

So , Don't be shy to comment or ask any question , I can't wait !

Also,  check this member http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=15347.0

Keep an eye on this member ! http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?action=profile;u=39123

He's the one fabricating the receptacle for this game ! He should post his work soon.  And the game could be out on January or near the spring . It will be a freeware or maybe a some sort of "all-you-can-pay" .

Heh, I love good gameboy-esque palette games.

Usually I like them for games that are very high concept systems wise (stuff like the original "Space Empires") but then are displayed with really simple iconic graphics.

That said though, yYour game here though seems to almost be the opposite though, heh. It's a real feast for the eyes despite being so limited in colour and resolution. It sort of reminds me of that Doom 3 demake mockup that I think was on TIG a while back only your concept is more fleshed out of course.

One really dumb nitpick I have so far: Why is the cargo hold/storage room area at the back of the ship smaller than the recreation/galley area? Shouldn't their relative sizes be the opposite?

This is my game. I sort of suck at making it.

Haha , I'm really happy you have enough interrest in my game to question this  Smiley.

Well , a cheap explanation would be that the cargo hold is more deep in the background than large/high.

Or maybe they've done so because they are very lonely in space and don;t give a crap about the rest (even if it's illogical) Cheesy

Or the crates can contain much more than their real size ( some sort of parallel dimension pocket)

I'm happy you love it  Gentleman ! But I doubt I will post update on this game , since it's a mini-game ( but Side effect should get some though). But I will make a final announcement  here when Melias Canon will be Out  Wink!
